The photos don’t do it justice, it looks much nicer in person. The view from the window in The Windsor Suite was well worth £75. The staff are lovely, especially the waitress at breakfast. Very clean, very tidy and perfect for us. Thank you!

Weekend break

The breakfast was delicious. The room really clean with an amazing view of the sea but the best thing is the friendly and chatty owners. We were made to feel so welcome. We actually got engaged while we were there and Carl surprised us with chocolates at breakfast. A really nice touch. We will book again.

Great little find in Morecambe

I just needed a comfortable overnight place to stay as I was scuba diving the next day in the local area. The owner (Viv) was very friendly and helpful and suggested a couple of places to have a drink and / or get some food which was very much appreciated. The room itself was very clean and a good size. I was given the top floor sea-view room which has amazing views over Morecambe Bay. The breakfast was very generous and the menu had plenty of different options. All in all I had a great stay and will definitely be back when I am in the area again.

Great b&b. Location great for walking to Heysham or the centre of morecambe along the sea front. Room was excellent, as was the breakfast . Owners very nice and polite. What's not to like, definitely be back.

Couldn’t ask for more!

A great stay at a little gem of a hotel. Carl and viv were lovely- really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We were upgraded to a family sea view room which was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice- they even catered for my husbands specific diet! Couldn’t ask for more!!

I was expecting a bit more than a double bed shoe-horned into a single room. There was less than a foot between the end of the bed and a wall. Curtains that would not shut, they could not go along the runners which had come away from the wall. The bodged screws directly through the runner stopped the curtain hooks from sliding. The toilet and sink were in a small cupboard in the bedroom, the cistern was supported on the waste processor under the toilet and was free of the wall, the screws had pulled completely free of the wall. The websites says no restrictions on movements, the room instructions say no non-paying guests in rooms (I didn't have one but it is inaccurate). The bar opening times were not posted in the room instructions and it appeared to be shut, it was certainly all dark. A pint with the laptop would have been nice, I booked as it had bar. I know it says most not all rooms have en-suite, where there is no en-suite I do not expect to be told to use the one in the front corridor/lobby area, it was on the ground floor, I was on the first. The breakfast is simple and cooked well, the staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic, but when the owners are taking holidays during late summer and the infrastructure is falling to bits you must question whether they deserve a 4+ rating. The facilities advertised were not there (no obviously open bar) and when breakfast is served in the basement and pensioners with sticks fight very steep and dangerous steps. No

Greeted by Viv who gave us a wealth of information about Morecambe and also offered us a full ensuite if we preferred. Breakfast was fantastic.

one of the best

if there were a way of cloning this guest house so that they were dotted throughout the uk it would be brilliant!! everything about our stay was fantastic; clean room-comfy bed-lovely view -helpful owners and staff-good breakfast!! a big bonus for myself was the really comfortable and well laid out guests lounge where I watched my football in complete comfort(whilst wife was on a ghost hunt just down the road) cannot fault our stay it was like home from home!! highly recommended-WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Made to feel very welcome from owner Viv on arrival, advised us of all local entertainment/restaurant locations and recommendations. Room spotless and everything that was required. Very very hearty breakfast.
