"This is a great option for independent-minded travelers who want something clean and spacious near the university. There is not much in the way of front desk staff but they communicated smoothly about check in and check out. There is an excellent bakery downstairs on the premises. The kitchen is stocked with basic pots, pans, utensils, etc. Tons of space. There is a bit of street noise as the property is at a busy intersection, so bring your earplugs just in case. Overall, good value."

"We were in town for a baseball tournament. Had two families (5 people, 3 people). The basement was perfect for one family and the upstairs was perfect for the larger family. The property was clean. Good communication with the owner. Everything we needed was there including garbage bags, toilet paper, laundry soap, dish soap etc. We had a great stay. The beds were super comfortable too!"

"The house is beautifully redone. Love the tin ceiling accents and coffee options included. The laundry room with nice washer and dryer were super helpful on a family trip. Plenty of blankets, sheets, etc. also plenty of dishes to cook a family meal. The neighborhood is quiet and so peaceful. Would stay again."

"Very nice property. Description was accurate. Everything was easy and directions were clear. We would definately stay again."

"Rented this home for U of I graduation. It is conveniently located - just about 5 minute drive to campus. Neighborhood is quaint and quiet. House had ample space and the kitchen had adequate amenities. Plenty of bath towels, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, paper towels supplied. We hung out in the backyard which had a nice patio table and chairs. Charming house in a charming, walkable area. We would certainly stay here again. "

"Traveled with my sisters for a weekend getaway. The house was just right for the four of us. Plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable. Screened back porch was a bonus. Only negative was that the living room sofas were worn and didn't have much support. Overall a great stay!"

"It was a great stay. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast outside almost every day. The location was terrific. We would stay here again. "

"The place is immaculate and beautiful designed. The yard is fenced in, which is great for my dog — but the next door neighbor has a dog (which is very sweet), so we kept my dog on a leash. Just a heads up if you have dogs who don't necessarily love other dogs. I used to live in this neighborhood and it's a great place for walks and a park nearby if you have a kiddo. Definitely recommend staying here! "
