"Our room was very nice. There is no elevator, so you do have to haul luggage up the stairs (our room was on the 3rd floor). Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Offsite parking is 2 blocks away, but very convenient. There are several dining options close by and everything was very walkable. Highly recommend the hotel."

"If we had to return to one place in all of Italy, we’d choose Il Tosco. It was absolutely SPECTACULAR! Elena was the most wonderful hostess, providing many recommendations, of which every one was spot on! The breakfast was out of this world - better than any place we’ve ever stayed. Kitchen was stocked with the most delicious olive oil cake and many other goodies around the living area to enjoy. Walkable to everything in Montepulciano. "We stayed here on 2 occasions, in 2 different rooms. Both were to a very high standard. Very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again and I will recommend to everyone coming to Perugia. It is also in a fantastically convenient location for the town centre."

"This property was amazing! At the very top overlooking the central plaza. The area it was in was so beautiful. The owners were extremely nice and helped us get to the parking lot which was aout a ten minute walk away. Every morning a very nice breakfast was waiting for us in the restaurant. The food at night was exquisite, and we always got the best seat in the house on a beautiful terrace overlooking the countryside. I would highly recommend this place abd hopefully make it back again someday....

"Stefania’s property is amazing. The care taken of not only the rooms but the grounds around the property is fantastic. Stefania was a great host and responded very quickly. Would recommend Montorio to anyone if travelling through the Montepulciano area."

"We had 13 people ages 4-83 stay for a week. The pools (one indoor and one outdoor) were wonderful and the views from the outdoor pool and terrace above spectacular. The house is looking its age in some ways, but is very comfortable, functional and spacious. The kitchen and outdoor grill worked great for cooking large meals. We had some problems with the air conditioning, but the owners dispatched help almost immediately. The location requires a drive to go anywhere, and cute Italian towns with...
