"My of three reserved the king suite with sleeper sofa and private patio. The space worked well for our different sleep schedules and we enjoyed eating our takeout dinner on our private patio. The Japanese toilet in our room was a nice surprise. The property overall seems relaxing with lots of leafy garden areas."

"Overall great stay, friendly staff and located nicely for mountain View travel. They have a complementary sauna and spa along with workout center and pool. Unfortunately the pool was closed for repair but it looked great along with a hot tub. The TV had controls for the lighting and temperature which was interesting. You could also control them physically. There is a lack of drawer space but had a closet and some shelving to put things on. Overall it was a wonderful stay."

"Big room, clean, helpful staff and lots of facilities (the laundry room was quite useful for me). There’s even complimentary breakfast! Lots of useful places nearby as well (Safeway for supermarket shopping, In and Out, Subway, and many other places, along with bus stops)."

"Nice breakfast, including plant-based milk. The only issue was that there were no glasses in the room, so we got cups from the breakfast area. Uber car used by hotel for airport shuttle. Paid for by hotel. Very quick response time. Nice stay, good value."

"Closeness to the board walk and beaches was a plus. The property wasn’t well maintained. The room was recently painted but the fixtures had outlived their day, very shabby. The TV connection to the cable didn’t work the first night. That bathroom door was so warped it couldn’t close. No place to hang clothing. Lots of noise from the parking area and street."

"Room air conditioning unit not working, called front desk, maintenance person immediately showed up , Ended up having to move to another room, requested help with moving and maintenance person assisted. Rooms are smaller than most hotels but workable with family. Beds were comfortable and the location was the best as we were close to many venues and events in Santa Clara. Staff was always helpful. There was an incident Sunday, June &, early in the morning. Upon checking out I asked the desk...

"Our room had loose floor boards, so every time we walked pass the credenza to use the microwave or make coffee, it would make a fairly loud sound."

"The property was extremely clean; the room very clean and comfortable. Parking under the hotel was easy and the location close to freeways was excellent. The staff member at the front desk was very pleasant and gave us our room keys (literally keys) but gave us little to no information about hotel amenities.if there were any. We were visiting some family in Los Gatos and would definitely stay at the Carlyle when visiting again."
