"Our room was warm with an oil heater and use of a laundry was a bonus. The bed was comfortable but had to wipe down the wall near the fridge as it was dirty and the microwave hadn’t be wiped out. Was great to walk to view platypus and would stay again. Dinner in the restaurant was good home cooked meal and other dinners were very friendly. "

"We only stayed here for one night and that was fine. It is a beautiful surrounding, very friendly and welcoming staff. The cottage is a bit out of date, definitely can do with a little bit of renewing like the cooking area and the curtains are very old. We found the pillows were way too high, but this is each to their own of course. We would come back as it is not all about the cottage, but it is a beautiful surrounding and friendly staff! Plus it was all very clean too!"

"This property is old and very dated. There was no communication leading up to our reservation.i had to call multiple times to find out which unit to stay in and then to figure out where the unit was. The unit itself is not welcoming. It is dreary and old. There is no place to relax. No toiletries are provided. The walking times on the listing are not accurate. It is a 15 minute drive to Cape Hillsborough Beach. The only positive was it did have hot water and the bed was clean. I would not stay...

"Not a great start. We arrived, had not received a text re cabin access and nobody answered the phone. When checking with Eungella Chalet we discovered that whoever input the dates into their systems had made a mistake. We had no accommodation for first night - dates a day ahead. Fortunately the lady at the chalet managed to find a one night stay at Broken River 5km away and the wonderful host there, Wen, welcomed us plus said she would work out payment with the cabins. "The house was absolutely gorgeous and the gardens were also amazing, the location was perfect for travelling around and the bed was also extremely comfortable I left feeling extremely refreshed and is a perfect place for a short stay to unwind from everything Absolutely love the addition of the coffee machine and teas you can brew. A gorgeous house I would highly recommend "

"Lovely quiet unit located near the beach. The owners were super helpful in checking in and providing advice on visiting nearby sites. The room was a good size and does have a private bathroom but it is located outside of the unit. "
