"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Chestnut House! The pictures online were beautiful, but seeing it in person was even better. The picturesque landscape and the calming sounds of the Piney River truly made it feel like a slice of heaven.The host went above and beyond, providing unexpected extras like donuts, eggs, and popsicles. My 1-year-old and 5-year-old grandchildren had an absolute blast. We will definitely be returning!"

"We try to book this place every time we go to Lexington."

"We loved being here for a weekend with our kids. We enjoyed the tree swing, the amazing firepit area, and the awesome creek access right behind the property! You are less than an easy 18min drive to trails, a cidery and devils backbone brewery! The cabin is rustic but worked for our little getaway. The beds are emmeory foam and comfortable.They have all the amenities you need and we ALL enjoyed the stay! We will be back here for another weekend getaway!"

"Home and property were clean, well maintained and most of all, calming! Listening to the water out front, watching the birds in the backyard and having a secure, fenced in, large yard for the dog to run was great! A great, accommodating home! "

"Loved this property and a huge plus was the awesome an quick communication with the owners/hosts. Our kids had a fabulous time in the pool and playing pool which were two musta for them based on our family's age range. Weather was perfect which was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again for a future getaway! Many thanks to the hosts!"
