We could hang out in after surfing, and we really just wanted to be able to watch some TV. As soon as we got there, staff told us that the pool and hot tub weren’t able to be used as they were broken until Tuesday. "Had to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes for the room because of a “housekeeping incident,” coffee was not ready in the morning, then there was no milk when coffee was ready. Key malfunctioned and could not get into the room at midnight, and despite a res for four people there were two towels. Needs work. "

"Crazy expensive for lack of amenities. Not sure why there was a resort fee when the pool was not even on property… it’s at their “sister property” 10 minutes down the boardwalk & in early May, when I stayed, it was too cold to use the pool anyway. The breakfast was 10 pastries for the entire hotel: 3 muffins, 3 croissants, 4 tiny strudels… that was the entire selection of “breakfast”, along with coffee, tea, or juice. The noise from the street was extremely loud all night, not that the staff...

"Superior room was very nice, clean and nice bedding. One VERY DANGERIOUS item was the shower inside the bathtub. Bathtub bottom was very slippery. No rough surface or tub mat. As seniors we were so concerned that we didn’t shower second day. Grab bar was on opposite wall and difficult to reach safely. Breakfast was not looking great and expensive. We found a great diner 10 minutes away. Not a great value for price paid. Nice looking and room very nice but improvements can be made"

"Loved everything about this place, from the beach reads left in our room, to the warm staff (go Neal!) to the best turkey club I've ever had in my life. The location can't be beat, onsite spa was lovely, and overall, just truly a stunning stay. 11 out of 10 would recommend."

"I find it hard to believe that a shelf in my room hadn't been cleaned for weeks maybe longer. Not sure I'm ever going to use a Marriott property again.. I said something to the guy at the front desk and nothing but crickets??? He didn't charge me parking fee after spending 2 night only because I asked him for the credit. Very disappointed and I am retired and moving around the country, not staying at the Marriott!!!!"
