The food quality was poor, but the service was worse; the staff member was quite dismissive and initially refused to serve my son, despite him being included on our breakfast card. That said, the hotel gets extremely busy on weekends, especially during events like the Jefferson’s Cup. With so many families staying there, it can get quite noisy at night, with kids running through the hallways and in nearby rooms. "I booked my reservation through Expedia. And I chose book now, pay at property. The day of my check in the hotel tried to run my card information without my knowledge and consent. I made 3 reservations for myself and other in my party, and they tried to run my card for all 3 before we had even checked in. And because the payment would not go through they cancelled the reservation. When I got to the hotel, the staff member said it was their policy to run a card to see if payment would go process....

"For the most part the hotel was acceptable in all aspects. The manager (middle eastern gentleman?) went over and beyond his way to accommodate and welcome us to the property and was super nice!! The downfall to this location is the homeless population that lands on his doorstep loitering on premises, using restrooms, etc. which I’m not sure how much control he has on that? But the property was clean, convenient location and priced competitive. "

"Definitely needs refurbishment. Our bathroom sink did not drain, the curtains were torn, the bathroom hook was missing. The room was clean, but it definitely needs updating. Also, the $10 per day fee for parking is ridiculous. It’s a suburban hotel with a large self park lot. We’ve stayed here a lot over the years and it was kind of sad seeing it look so rundown. I’m not sure we would stay there again in the future."

"During our stay, the staff asked our guest (a young adult visiting from out of town) for identification while my husband was away. Despite us having already paid for the room, they told our guest he needed to leave. As a result, both my husband and our guest were removed from the property. We were told we would receive a refund for one night; however, Expedia has since informed us they have been unable to reach the property to process it. The situation was concerning and left us feeling...
