"We were almost going to cancel our trip due to severely cold wet weather forecast for the long weekend but we had come from NW WA to visit the Casterton Kelpie Muster and decided to continue. "We loved the red brick cottage. Great location with wildlife everywhere and a good BBQ area twenty yards away. Owners very thoughtful as they left logs for the coal fire as we were experiencing a cold weather spell. Unique and wonderful place to stay. "

"This property is surrounded on both sides by the Grampians, nestled near the town centre of Halls Gap. Plenty of wild animals to see, kangaroos, wallabies, deer and ducks are all plentiful. Your nearest neighbour is the sister house to this one (The one we stayed at was called bushland, but ironstone is also available.) "This beautiful property has only recently become available, so we were lucky enough to be one of the first to stay here. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It is in a fantastic location, to the rear of the main street.... close enough to be handy, but far enough to be private. It has great tech (all new and streaming included), and a washer and dryer. The local kangaroos greet you in the morning and again late in the afternoon. "
