"A warm and welcoming property conveniently located for Cylinder Beach and Point Lookout. The fire pit was an unexpected bonus - buy the wood from the roadside on your way up from Dunwich - $30 cash for a big crate load. We really loved the property as it’s quiet but convenient . The decor was lovely too ."

"Great place, great amenities , well catered for for cooking in house, so many great touches , like coffee machine and cooking stuff..the only ting I would say a slight negative.. no air con.. fans were OK, but a few hot days with no breeze A/C would have been nice..."

"Great location. Walk to all the amenities and beaches in Point Lookout.Small cottage. Its an old school 50s beach shack but has everything you need and bus stop a few m.s away. The owners have worked with this aesthetic so it feels very relaxed and not like a bland serviced apartment."

"Perfect base for exploring North Stradbroke Island. Clean, fresh. Great location with easy access to beach, shops and bus lines. Nice neighbors and the owner Paul was incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend. "

"Loved this property. Sunshine kept this bungalow warm into the cold winters night. Doggo loved the grassy yard. A bonus seeing was the ocean glimpses and whale spouts. Had everything we needed and a great hot shower."

"Excellent location with water views from all three levels. Could see whales out on the water. Kitchen facilities all worked well. Need to pack your own bin bags and no shampoo/conditioner/body wash was provided. Would highly recommend if you are travelling without pets (no pets allowed)."

"We found the unit suited our needs perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the unit was appointed. There was ample linen and kitchen essentials tennis rackets and balls. The unit was clean and tastefully decorated and the view from the round window was quite pleasant. We had a wonderful holiday with the unit as a base and the Cylinder Beach sunsets and swimming was dream like."

"The house was perfect for what we wanted - a no frills base for two families with young kids close to the beach. The house was a great size, nice and spacious, with a great big balcony that caught the beautiful afternoon light surrounded by trees with visiting kookaburras. Nice and close to Home Beach and Cylinder Beach and just a short drive into town. It was really handy to have a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Would definitely stay again.One piece of feedback - only one out of the...
