"The location was excellent. The staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was good enough. The hotel was clean. It needs updating. Our two nights stay was satisfactory. We had a hot water problem in the shower but it was attended and fixed. Though water in the shower was not hot enough not enough force. No major issue. Thanks"

"Rooms and inn itself were great. Service at dinner was extremely slow to the point where we had to flag down a different staff member every time we needed something basic like getting water, ordering dessert, or even paying our bill. The restaurant also had the most uncomfortable restaurant chairs ever. Definitely not what we were hoping for after a long hard day of hiking up and down Conic Hill. It literally hurt more to sit than stand"

"Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for our travels. Beautiful building with lots of character. The linens were very nice. The hallways could use a fresh coat of paint, but every was very nicely decorated and high quality. We’ve been in Scotland two weeks and this was one of our favorite places we stayed at. Breakfast was very nice."
