"It was a great little getaway, and we could imagine in summer it would be even nicer being able to enjoy the outdoor picnic spots by the pond. We arrived late in the day and were quite peckish, so enjoying a beautiful fresh loaf of bread, butter and cheese that greeted us when we arrived was lovely - along with a bottle of wine for later and a ginger beer for our young one. Even though we came in winter, the West Coast scenery and atmosphere never disappoints, and the house was lovely and...

"A beautiful spot for a break, right on the stunning beach and close to loads of great areas to visit and enjoy. The house itself is really big and well presented."

"Bach is located right by the Kawatiri trail, with cafe/restaurant across the road. The bach is small but warm and comfortable, with everything you need, and a great shower!"

"Host goes over and above to make the stay comfortable. Very clean, actually the cleanest place we've ever stayed! 5 minutes walk to everywhere, very quiet and lovely views"

"A bit of a surprise to find we (4) were sharing the house with the owners, plus a Canadian. We had thought that our 4 were going to have a bedroom each, as per the BookaBach description of the property. Two guys had to share a room.The owners were a delightful, very helpful Chinese couple, who made us welcome and accommodated our Ebikes in their garage to recharge. "

"A lovely place to stay with a group. You could hear the waves at night and the overly friendly wekas meant you had to be careful not to leave doors open. The whole campground was well maintained and the Cow Shed cafe a delight."

"We had the most restful stay in this cute retro bach. Everything we needed was provided. Adored the outdoor fire and bath. The covered outdoor eating area was perfect for rainy day dining. Extremely cosy indoors with fire. Even managed a wave from the train driver passing by!!!!!Highly recommend for a getaway. "
