"Amazing host. Accomodations were comfortable and clean. We were very surprised to see the kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, fresh fruit and a few other goodies. The host goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Perfect for two people, highly recommend staying at the Shalom Cottage."

"A very comfortable, clean, convenient apartment close to the shore and all the natural attractions near Madison and Clinton. We particularly appreciated that the owners quickly replaced the bedroom air conditioner when it broke. Great hosts!"

"We booked this house for a Girls Relax and Restore vacation and this property was PERFECT! We sat at the waters edge soaking up the sun, right outside the house, everyday. We cooled off in the ocean and enjoyed watching high and low tides roll in and out while the Ospreys and Double Breasted Cormorants fished in out little piece of ocean . There’s a quaint little downtown where we got ice cream and visited the local book store (amazing little shop) to buy more beach reads. There’s also a full...

"Everything was great and very relaxing. Due to its location on a wooded property the climate of the house was very comfortable. When it was hot outside, it was comfortably cool inside (without ac) and vice versa. The screenshot porch was very relaxing and the house had a lot of items to use and good kitchen equipment. Furthermore Todd is very helpful host! The lake and the surrounding were very relaxing too. We were there with our teenage kids. For them the calm surrounding was a little boring...

"Our third stay at the house was just as awesome as the first two! The house itself and location to the beach are ideal for our family vacations! Each time we stay we are just as impressed as the first visit and find we have everything we need. We are already looking forward to next summer with the hopes of staying even a little longer! "Communication with the host was excellent. His place was clean, bright, and very well equipped! The location makes it easy to get around the greater Hartford area. Our stay was very good!"
