James’s suite was perfect for a stay in Key Biscayne. The Ritz Carlton property is beautiful. The suite has everything you need including a well stocked kitchen. James was very responsive from pre-check in and during our stay. We would happily stay at one of James’ units again.

Wedding prep

Groom & ushers stayed for the day, getting ready for wedding. Everything was perfect. Parking was a bit complicated initially because the card was missing, but valet people were very helpful. Once the card became available, it was smooth sailing.

Great stay

I stayed there with my husband, 2.5 year old, and 2 month old. The place was exactly as advertised and was perfect for us. Plenty of space, great resort with walk in pool and splash pad, convenient parking, and had a crib for us to use. Would definitely stay again.

Stunning sunsets

We have stayed in several rooms at the Ritz over the years. We really appreciated the apartment feel of this room. The balcony was great for sunset views! We also really liked the full kitchen where we fixed a simple breakfast. Being able to enjoy the spa, pools and all the Ritz offers is the real draw.

Wonderful Unit

We loved our stay here! The unit is close to the elevator (huge plus with little kids) and on a high floor so it was very quiet! It was also bigger than it looks in pictures. We had a child on the pull out couch, a toddler in a mini crib, and a baby in a bassinet and they all fit with no problem! The host was great, he accommodated our requests quickly and had the crib ready in the room when we got there. I was a little nervous having three kids and no maid service, but there were tons of towels in the bathroom and a lot of hooks to dry them on so we never ran out of dry towels. There were some sand toys in the closet when we got there, and we left a few more, so you won’t need to bring those along. We would love to come back and stay next year!

Great place and location.

Property had everything we needed. The Ritz Carlton is a beautiful place and it was so nice using their facilities and everything was close by. I heard they were doing some renovations during the summer so it will be even more beautiful. Hope to come back someday.

Perfect

James is an amazing host with so much information and a beautiful suite. It was very easy to communicate with James and he replied very quickly and was very helpful. The Ritz is a great property and the suite and even the parking space makes it a great place to stay!

Lovely resort but unit needs deep clean & TLC

We have stayed at the Ritz Key Biscayne in the past and the resort is lovely. Lots of restaurants nearby and the beach is beautiful. The unit has so much potential, it's spacious and part of a beautiful property. Unfortunately, the unit was very dirty upon arrival and needs a lot of TLC. James was responsive and sent the cleaner back but the carpet and furniture need a deep clean, as well as the HVAC, shower, walls & baseboards (lots of stains on walls/baseboards and mold in the shower).

Nice stay at Ritz Key Biscayne

This is our third year coming to this hotel during the holiday week. As usual, the hotel is very nice, there are many great activities for kids and we like the location away from the bustle of Miami. We understand the hotel was recently sold and will be undergoing a significant renovation during 2025. The hotel is a bit outdated so the renovations are certainly welcome news. This room was great for our family of 4. It could also use some updating, but overall it’s fine.

Love staying at the KB Ritz!

We’ve been coming here for six years. Feels like home. The Ritz is closing 5/25-12/25 for major renovations. I hope they keep the comfortable, family friendly, attentive feel and don’t go ultra-modern and impersonal/cold. This unit was nice because it overlooks Biscayne Bay which we prefer because you can see the sailboats and sunset and isn’t subject to noise when events are held outside on the ocean side.

Wonderful resort and great suite for a weekend getawat

We came down to Miami from Manhattan for a business dinner on Friday in Brickell. We loved staying at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne resort. The suite was very nice and had everything as described. We highly recommend the room and the hotel

Nice getaway in a spacious room.

Overall it was a nice stay. The room was spacious with a living room, bedroom, full bath and kitchen. James was a delight to deal with and extremely responsive. The unit itself could use a little TLC. Paint, new carpet, etc., seems long overdue. there was also old wrappers/trash in the dresser drawer. We enjoyed our stay in this unit but some updates would go a long way. I would stay here again.

Ritz very poor experience

Poor maintenance overall. Broken light bulbs under cabinets in kitchen causing poor visibility. Stained carpet in living room that needs replacing. Fan remotes that do not function properly. Rotted wood around windows. Out of date creamer/coffee that had congealed. Unresponsive to initial check-in requests. Did not send directions/unit number in advance. We had no idea which building to check into. Near front door severe leak from clogged drain from condensate catch basin below air conditioner that leaked all over carpet. I disassembled down to air handler coil and somehow got hose unclogged. Coil was absolutely filthy. Barely flowed air. There was a fan in closet that we ran for 1.5 days over wet carpet area to dry out. Ritz property was nice but older and edging towards rundown. Do not recommend.
