As soon as we entered the room it smelled like chemicals, place could use an upgrade of furniture. Multiple dead roaches on the ground floor. I showed the pictures to the front desk they didn’t even bother looking at the room and immediately told me to take it up with the website you rented the room from. Overall I stayed out most of the time because that’s why I was there to be on the beach but definitely not worth spending 800 for this place, there are better options.

Pros : Great access to beach. Plenty of space and good value given number of beds. Parking included in price. Cons : apartment is really tired and in need of updating. Outdoor furniture is dirty and rusty and umbrella was broken. Pool area is really poor. Long way from anywhere so need to drive or get uber / drive.

Good hotel

The location of the hotel is very good, the room overlooks the beach. There is a backyard, a beautiful view of the ocean. But the big minus is that everything inside is very old, the door handles are broken, the dishes are old, the bottom of the kettle is rotten and water is leaking. No one keeps quiet after 11:00 p.m. Our neighbors stopped making noise around 1 a.m.

Well, to start, I believe the listing said there were 4 beds, which I was banking on. I had with me my three 6 foot tall teens and 2 had to share a bed. :( The room was fine. It had everything else it touted, but just a little more broke down than the pictures implied. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We were surprised that there was beach chairs and were very happy about it! The pool closed waaayy tooo early. We never got to use it as a result. way too short of hours. The 'check in' process was weird. I cut myself on the blinds upstairs and there were no bandaids in the room (not expected). The shop didn't have any. And there was no front desk to ask for some. So I had to use a washcloth. But aside from all that, I would recommend this place to others, just with the caveat that it is a little janky.

Ok stay, but communication could’ve been better.

We enjoyed our stay but I tried to reach out several times to the host and the property management team due to the roof leaking into the room and all over our belongings. We were told that someone would come by and look into the roof leaking everywhere after waiting around 4 hours, long story short no one even came by or seemed to care!!!

Mixed Feelings

I am going to start out with the positive. The location is amazing with easy access to the beach. Even though we had numerous problems inside the apartment the management company responded right away and sent someone over. We appreciated that.They did address whatever was broken and fixed it in a timely manor. The apartment needs a makeover and if they do that it would be a jewel. We have stayed in this building before so we know what that apartment could become.However we did enjoy our time there.

Catfish listing- be very weary!

We checked into our place and it could not have gone worse. There were nasty stains all over the couch that looked like bodily fluids. The curtains were filthy- looked like someone smeared poop all over them. Floorboards ripped out. But most importantly the door to get in and out of the house was broken- a major safety issue. There was mold all throughout the unit and even what looked like a decaying rodent. The property management was a complete disaster to deal with and is refusing to refund our money. We were complete catfished by the listing. It was booked through VRBO. Be very weary of Blu Rentals. They very clearly do not maintain their unit and we were catfished entirely! It was absolutely atrocious.

Unfortunate Construction

Unfortunately, there was some construction happening right under the condo the first full day we checked in. It was shaking the walls to an unbearable level and I'd assume caused half of the outlets to not work. The host contacted us within 24 hours and did offer a partial refund for the inconvenience.

The location of the property is great, very close to Ocean Dr where there's many Restaurants and bars. The beach is just a few steps of the property, private and no crowds. But the property does need some serious TLC. I remember seen other comments about how outdated it is, which I didn't mind, but there's a difference between being outdated and well maintain. Requires a lot of fixing and replacing items. There's valet parking at the property which is great, but when it gets busy make sure you're ready to wait 40 mins in line for your car, seems like they're a bit under staff. But overall, with some TLC this property can become a hidden gem.

Property is good for All day beach access. Other than that, This joint is in need of updates. The TV are not smart, the bathrooms need updates the most. Both have tubs,but you're only able to shower. Toilets flush super weak. The property is more for beach access,nothing luxury. Valet is free but confusing at first, soons you start $$tipping$$, it gets easier and friendlier

Girls weekend

Me and my 3 other friends rented this place for 3nights to celebrate my bday. It was the perfect weekend getaway spot. Place definitely needs some updating, but you can’t beat the location . Right on the beach with a beautiful view from the room upstairs. The hotel has a store that sells the basics you may need ( including alcohol!). Management was great ! I asked for an extra blanket through the app and not even 10min later I got it . Our flight got delayed and we asked to do a late checkout . Since nobody was booked right after us, they allowed us to do it. Thanks again for that!!!!

Beach house with good amenities

Open the curtains to see the sunrise, hear the sounds of the beach, and walk a few yards to start enjoying the beach that's clean and big. House has all amenities in the kitchen and outdoors for families to have a good time, and prepare meals. The view from the 2nd floor is amazing. We had 2 issues with this property Number given by the property owner doesn't work or goes to voice mail for any immediate questions. Communication in VRBO messaging system is ok, but I had to wait for at least a day to get a response. We had a noisy neighbor, we couldn't sleep the whole night, and I couldn't reach the property owner to complain. The hotel front desk didn't take it seriously either until another renter from the other side of the noisy neighbor also joined in complaining. We thought of calling the police. I left a voice mail to the owner but heard no response. If you see the owner's response on how this issue was handled, then you can evaluate customer care and decide on the booking.
