Nice overnight stay close to the action

We enjoyed our quick stay at the South Beach Plaza Villas. It was a lovely, charming hotel reminiscent of the heyday of Miami Beach. The Ocean Boulevard action was conveniently right around the corner, too!

Very reasonable, small room, no place to sit and relax, right on Ocean and beach. Nice breakfast, drinks at restaurant very expensive. Everybody working there was very nice, but it's old but clean , very good location, not really for seniors

Welcome to Miami

Friendly staff , food was amazing . Complimentary breakfast but could not swap for vegetarian. No where to store your luggage after check out . Staff let us stayed an hour extra to accommodate our request .

Keep in mind this place is both a restaurant & a stay - so rating may deceive you. This is a very basic hotel/motel nothing more than that. If you could opt out of "free selected breakfast" is also recommended. The location and cleanness is the main advantage otherwise nothing unique.

No customer service attention

Zero customer service attention, no greeting from any of them except for the hostess who tried inviting us to their restaurant not knowing we were actually staying there.

Room smaller than expected.

The room was not as advertised in the website. The room was more the size of a small bedroom.

I only stayed for a night. Did a mini get away. Literally a quick turn. Small- not like pictures but conveniently on ocean dr and was able to walk and Uber/Lyft from/to certain places. Wasn’t perfect but wasn’t too bad. Staff nice.

Close to everything but hallways stunk so bad you had close your nose to walk through. Staff was always nice and smiling. Beds not very comfortable but doable. No cable t.v it's free antenna t.v and wifi isn't all that great. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not

The room was really small and honestly had a very bad smell. There was no storage stayed 5 days and it was rough. Towels and toilet paper were difficult to get. There is no mini fridge which is crazy. The staff is very nice and it’s not there fault. The hotel was in a great area

Everyone knows South Beach is expensive. This is by no means a luxury hotel (hence the 2.5 star rating) but an affordable place to stay at an excellent location. The hotel is stinky, old, and dirty BUT the location is unbeatable. Staff was nice, beds were comfortable, and it was safe. It’s the south beach experience at a decent price. If you want a nice place to stay, expect to pay $600 and up. I brought my own sheets and pillows and wore sandals and nose plugs the little time I was here LOL. Besides that, just enjoy the beach and party! (For the owners though: a GOOD cleaning and fresh paint would make a world of a difference)

No parking! They say parking available but there is NO parking besides 5 blocks away. The parking garage didn't want us to park over night but did for$50 extra.

Disgusting…

The only 2 things keeping this hotel going are the staff and location. The staff were very nice and the location was located right by the beach and all the popular bars and club….. the room on the other hand was absolutely disgusting. I even read the reviews before booking and saw that they were not good at all, but I thought, how bad could it really be. The room looked like a dungeon, had a weird smell, there was a huge wad of hair left in the tub’s drain and there was a long black hair in our bed. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

Location was the only reason we chose to stay. Otherwise, the rooms were deplorable! Looked nothing like the pictures. No curtains on windows, flood lights directly into room from building next door. Just a bed and desk. No lamps, end tables, or curtains. Dirty. Falling apart. Only thing clean were the towels and bedding. Doors deadbolt did not lock. Smelled moldy.

I booked this property based on location. I knew it didn't have fantastic reviews so my expectations were pretty low going in. We arrived pretty early in the morning and asked if they could hold our bags at the front desk since it was too early to check in. After going back and forth a bit, I think the desk attendant finally understood what we were asking. He sat our bags in the office space by the front desk and mentioned we can check in early around 9 or 10am. We walked around and grabbed some breakfast then headed back to the hotel. A different person was working the front desk. He said we could check in early for a $30 fee. I was okay with that since we really needed to take a nap after flying a red eye. The elevator is super tiny and the door is very slow opening for half of it and then aggressively closes. We got to our room to find it was the tiniest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Our 'partial ocean view' was looking straight in to a window of a hotel room next door. We were getting ready to head out the next morning when someone just comes in to our locked room. It was a lady that works the front desk. She apologized and closed the door. We noticed that we didn't have a remote control for the TV so we stopped by the desk and spoke to the same lady. She apologized again and said she didn't show we were on the reservation. Dealt with that. When we returned, our key didn't work.

Det är ett hotell som håller på att renoveras och har bara fyra rum med service rum väl fula rum kackerlackor ingen jämförelse med vad de har i bilderna publiceras på webben.

Incumplidos con el servicio

Habia hecho mi reserva con anticipacion y estaba confirmada. Al llegar al hotel me informan que no habian habitaciones disponibles.
