"The location is so stunning and on a quiet road. There was lots of space to hangout outside which was perfect, especially hearing the loons on the lake in the mornings! The house itself was pretty basic, but cute and clean and fit our needs for a weekend of hiking. "

"We’re back again for our yearly stay at Greg and Mindy’s beautiful house for a bit of snowmobiling. You can’t asked for much more than what they offer. As always everything’s immaculate and clean. "This was the perfect cozy cabin for our winter vacation. It is perfect if you love a private peaceful scene in the woods. About 30 minutes from towns. Very comfortable, and the Mary is incredibly responsive and helpful. We went to towns, ice fishing on the private lake, had ourselves a day catching so many perch, and relaxed by the fire inside. Highly recommend if you like the quietness of the woods and being outdoors as lots of trails and hikes to do as well!"

"This cabin was so much more than we expected! It's spacious, with a full kitchen, two bedrooms and two full baths. The property has multiple cozy seating areas including a large front porch, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location is secluded enough to get away from it all, while still being conveniently close to anything you need.The hosts were extremely kind and helpful and took great care with all the details that make a trip memorable. We loved our stay!"

"This historical home is just so cool. My kids kept finding new treasures throughout the home. We used it as homebase for my son's wedding and extended family and friends were very comfortable. Enough spaces, rooms and bathrooms for everyone to enjoy time together and apart. My kids LOVED the pool which was very comfortable temperature for September. Hard to believe that this is downtown Malone since it feels so secluded. Since it was wedding weekend, my kids didn't feel that that got to...

"We picked this cabin due to its location to Lake Placid and specifically The Almanzo Wilder Homestead. It was very easy to get to both places and provided a cozy place to hang out and rest our heads when not sight seeing. The front porch provided a lovely hang out spot during the unfortunate rain when we weren't able to have a fire. I would strongly suggest this cabin to anyone, especially if you have a love for being outdoors rain or shine. "

"The house was just the right size for our family - 6 adults and 1 child (aged 8). The property is very remote but if you plan your meals well, it works out just fine. Most of our time was spent on the upper deck lounging, in the water, or relaxing in the living /dining area with dinner in the garden. The hosts were very responsive and generous with answers to questions. A perfect week-long getaway. If there is any complaint it is that the mattresses in the upstairs bedrooms were too soft."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable. Kids loved having their own space. Close to the places we needed to be in Malone and Owls Head. Would live to stay here again. "

"Property is beautiful and cabin was very cozy and clean. Hiking is nearby but I was perfectly content spending the day at the cabin and enjoying the various sitting spaces around the property, and of course the lake. The table and chairs on the dock was a favorite spot. Host was lovely to communicate with and made us feel at home during our stay with practically everything we needed. Definitely recommend this rental and hope to be back in the future! Thanks again! "
