"The location was perfect! Quiet and very peaceful! The communication with the host and his very excellent detailed directions and instructions were super helpful. The kitchen was clean and functional and we enjoyed the games. The propane stove worked very well and quickly heated the cabin. The property was very pretty and secluded. The bed closet to the living room was painfully uncomfortable… but we moved into the other bedroom and that be was better. There were plenty of towels, washcloths...

"We loved everything about it. The only thing we would have wanted was screens on the windows so we could open them. Flies got in if we left door open even for a minute. Place was stuffy without fresh air. Fan helped a bit. But again: we loved the place, had a great time, and would stay there again and recommend to others. "

We had some problems with the internet, but the local contact was extremely responsive and helpful. We were given a small refund for our trouble with the internet, which we appreciated. "Beautiful views!! The house was Mendo eclectic which is why I picked this property. Aged home yes but cute in the details. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep, however we did need more seating in the living room with the kitchen chairs. The beds were just adequate, but i do like a softer bed. "I was able to attend our family vacation because of this beautiful, tidy, and well-appointed cottage (with kitchen). I especially loved its quiet birding-garden spaces and easy layout where I could take good care of myself, yet be close to the family. Communication was excellent. "We stayed 3 nights in The Gaulala Cottage. The room had a great view from the deck. The property is older and a little rustic. Everything was clean for the most part. The sleeper sofa would be fine for a younger child, not so good for a young adult. Communication and Parking were both good. The driveway is steep. Beware if you have a car that sits low. "
