  • This cottage is perfect walking distance to Starbucks, Kroger Supermarket, Numerous Shopping and Eating Establishments. 5 minutes from everything Midtown and University of Memphis has to offer....Brooks Museum, Overton Park,Levitt Shell, Overton Square.... 20+ restaurants, bars,movie theater,Ballet Memphis,2 theater groups and live music. 15 minute drive to downtown attractions and 20 mins to Graceland.
    I am a local contractor and designer who has Renovated this cottage to new heights,with attention to the details. Everything is new. Kitchen has gas range cooking and is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a memorable meal. Cozy dining nook has seating for four and also doubles as a convenient work station.
    The one bedroom comes with a Queen bed and luxurious bedding and linens. 2 HDTV with cable,Netflix and WiFi provided to my guests. Includes the use of a One Car Garage parking just steps from the entry. My goal in choices of finishes and furnishings was to provide better than a 5 star hotel quality me know if I accomplished my goal !! If I missed anything let me know and it will be provided.

Spacious coziness

Spacious, comfortable and great location. Really enjoyed our stay. We liked the layout and look forward to staying again when we visit family. Host is very responsive, and check-in and check-out simple.

Great stay in Memphis

We had a great time visiting Memphis. This property is very comfortable and it was easy to navigate around Memphis from there. We really liked that we could walk to restaurants and a grocery store. Ben is very helpful and quick to respond to questions.

Short Memphis Trip

Very good place for our short trip to Memphis. We had access to a garage which was much appreciated. The unit was a bit worn but overall clean and all that we needed. It was very close to business area with restaurants that could be walked to. We had a pleasant stay.

Convenient East Memphis Location

Everything about this apartment was great! Close enough to a major street making access to all the neighborhood has to offer, but deep enough on the side street so traffic noise was never an issue. The apartment is ample enough for two people and it has everything you need to have a very pleasant sray.

Accurate, easy and comfortable

Not familiar with Memphis but I was hoping for a more walkable area… regardless this was a very comfortable and accurately described listing at an affordable price point. Had a rental car so no big deal. Well supplied, cute abs comfortable

Loved this cozy one bedroom space. House seems to be split into 2-3 apartments. Would recommend a light on the front porch and a number on the apartment door as when you come in you have three unmarked doors to choose from. Loved the old wood floors and Roku TVs were great. Well equipped kitchen and washer/dryer! Close to everything and walkable to Kroger. Felt safe and neighborhood was quiet. Will totally stay again when in Memphis.

Cozy and Friendly

This was our first VRBO in Memphis and this was a great location close to the University of Memphis. Owner communicated well and prepped everything well. Hope to come back.

Check in/out process was easy. Nice and quiet neighborhood. 8 mins to the Memphis zoo and Botanical Garden. 15 minutes to Beale Street and 20 to Graceland. A beer garden within walking distance. Lots of restaurants nearby. Great location and reasonably priced. Comfy bed and plenty of towels and extra linens.

Rest & Relaxation

I wanted a vacay after my birthday vacay where I could have time to myself to refocus. This charming cottage was as advertised. The only concern I had was a window pane was missing from the door, but it had a temporary fix. The only downside was I couldn’t have my shih tzu visit. But I understood the hosts reason. Overall I got exactly what I needed. Rest and relaxation. I would definitely rebook this cottage in the future. I enjoyed this neighborhood and space so much I’m considering relocating. I had an AMAZING experience. I will definitely return.

great location

This location was very convenient for all that we wanted to see and do in Memphis. It was quite roomy. The living room furniture and bed were very comfortable. The kitchen was adequately supplied. However, we were most disappointed when we arrived to see a piece of plywood covering a missing pane of glass in the exterior door. Further, there were multiple spots of peeling paint in the bathroom, and the toilet was not properly secured to the floor. While every place has some oops and requires routine maintenance, these shortcomings were more aggravating given that the listing stated recently updated by a contractor.

Great location!

Was a great location on a quiet street, close to everything we wanted to see and do. This is actually a house split into three separate apartments; and people living/staying in other were not very noisy, but when you aren't used to it, it's very noticeable. Still much, much better and cheaper than staying in a hotel. I would stay here if ever in Memphis again.

Clean, Well Stocked, Comfortable Bed

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Green Door. The location was perfect, it's close to Starbucks, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Kroger and the University. Many great restaurants to choose from nearby as well. The garage parking was a plus and something we've never experienced at another VRBO. The unit is well stocked with kitchen items needed to prepare meals including condiments, spices and coffee filters. Large sink, stove, dishwasher and a washer and dryer are also included. The space is very roomy and it was nice to have both a sitting room and dinning table to watch tv and enjoy our breakfast and coffee in the morning. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've experienced in a Vacation Home. Would defiantly stay here again on any future trips to Memphis. Five Stars all around.

It was just as the pictures showed! Very clean and quiet. It was real close to where I needed to be ever morning. Ben was easy to work with. If I ever need a place to stay again in Memphis, I’ll ask for this place.

Great long weekend in Memphis

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay here. The location was central to a lot of things we wanted to either east or towards downtown. The house came with everything we needed, and having the garage to store our car each night was a plus. A nice, laid-back neighborhood. Some of the paint was peeling in the bathroom, but other than that the house and property were great. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in town. The Mediterranean deli down the street was very good too. I recommend staying here for the location and price!

Second time staying here

Just as nice as last year. Bed is super comfortable and the location is perfect for where I needed to be. For those that aren’t aware this is an apartment in a house so you will need to keep that in mind if you’re seeking quiet. You can here other people talking, tv, music, etc. I wasn’t there much so it wasn’t too big an issue for me. I look forward to visiting again next year.
