We had a great time with our host family cousins and love them, the Finger Lake Region (geography, nautical, people, architecture, antiquing & of course the many wine trails. "Our family had an amazing time! Laurie was a most welcoming host and showed us around when we first arrived. She was super accommodating of letting us use their lake mat for the duration of the stay because one of their float we were going to rent was not usable. "Our studio rental was perfect! Comfy bed, great shower, and fluffly towels. The kitchen was fully equipped for preparing anything! Just bring the food, beverages and condiments. However, coffee and coffee maker was provided. The bathroom was sparkling clean! We chose to engage our hosts Carmella and Rod. We had a lot of fun talking about the area. However, they are very respectful of privacy if you prefer. We will be back!"

"Everything was absolutely fantastic! Anne is a wonderful host. Very kind, responsive, and proactive with communication. Her lake house is gorgeous. Beautifully renovated, it is an idyllic location. Amazing beach, stunning stone steps bordered by hydrangeas that were in full bloom. A truly delightful stay for my wife and I and our 3 kids. "We were visiting Skaneateles for a family wedding and decided to extend our stay and have a mini vacation. The house fit us perfectly, 6 adults, and 2 infants under 2. While the pool entertained everyone most of the time, the proximity to town was an added bonus. We also visited the brewery which had live music and a food truck which made for a wonderful afternoon outing. Would definitely stay again!"

Would have liked to have been closer to somewhere with direct lake access - we listened to workers cutting tree limbs down most of the time. Owners were very thorough with amenities provided and great to work with. We did not locate any sheets for the pullout couch - we thought that was included with the linens, but I guess we should have brought some...
