"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lakefront house. It was clean, comfortable, very quiet and peaceful. The small lake was perfect for kayaking and paddle boating or just sitting and being still, watching the fish jump and even perhaps catching a sight of a bald eagle fishing. The kitchen had plenty of space and everything needed for whatever you wanted to prepare. The listing made it sound like it was the whole house however the owners live in an addition to the original house and you share...

"Perfect cabin for a family getaway, 4 minutes from Ricketts Glen. Very private location, surrounded by ferns and well shaded. Pet friendly. Would absolutely stay again, and would recommend anyone considering staying here to give this spot a shot. Host communication was A"

"Just an amazing, secluded, sprawling property to get away from everyday life. It has everything you need to not have to leave until it’s time. The pond was spectacular to cool off and the fire pit was set up perfectly. Grilling was so convenient and close to kitchen! "

"Property owner was great to work with! Responded quickly to questions I had before my trip. Place is fully equipped with kitchen tools, toys for the kids, DVDs to watch, etc. Also, my stay was at the end of July and my kids and I were able to pick some blueberries on the property. Great place to stay with the family!"

"This was a wonderful cabin - in a beautiful, peaceful location, and had just the right amount of space and coziness for our family! Jessica checked in the first night we were there to make sure everything was good, and then was quick to respond when we had a question. You can buy firewood on site, which was very convenient for our nightly fires. Just a couple minutes to Ricketts Glen State Park, where we enjoyed several great hikes. Also enjoyed ice cream from Red Rock Scoop just down the road,...

"Wonderful location and house was perfect! Great mountain views and we loved the firepit area. House was immaculate and beautifully taken care of. We had everything we needed and the owners were the best! They were very responsive to our questions and helpful. Truly a great weekend and we definitely are renting there again. "

"We were so pleasantly surprised at how secluded this property was! It was very clean and had everything we needed! It was such a relief not to lug towels, bed sheets and all with us. The convenience of a washer and dryer were amazing too. My husband and I both said we'd never slept better. Would absolutely stay here again!! "

"Enjoyed our stay. Place was clean and comfortable. Everything was provided for the stay (bed linens, towels, kitchenware). Parking was available in lot directly behind apartment. Listing stated listing was apartment A however when we got there it was B right next door. Enjoyed Pizza from pub directly across the street. "

"We had a phenomenal time! Thank you for providing such a great experience for us on Eaglesmere lake. The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and clearly well cared for, with thoughtful touches throughout. We left feeling totally refreshed and already planning our next trip back :)"

"This home was just as described. A few upgrades to the beds could be made as they are too noisy. Every time u move the bed squeaks. Apartment sits right on top of store, so you smell all the good aroma of the food being made. Wifi was great but host turned it off at 6AM on the morning of checkout. Wifi should be provided for the whole duration of people stay, because once they checkout they can’t take your wifi with them anyway. "Great secluded cabin. Used this as base for an extended weekend of hiking and relaxing. Rocking chairs on the porch during the day and a swing in front of the fire pit at night. Grilled dinner a few nights and ate on the porch. Great location in the middle of the woods. No sound of traffic from this place. Lots of birds but no wildlife this trip. Thanks for the stay."

"This is a beautifully renovated older home on very private property. The host has thought of everything you would need to make your stay comfortable and fun. Their little extras are amazing with plenty of supplies to make your stay effortless. All the bed mattresses are very comfortable too. We would return for another time in the future."
