"A very nice, new hotel that is part of/above a bar/restaurant. I just want to point out that there was no noise from the bar that I could hear (I was on the 4th floor). Aside from jarring elevator rides, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was almost new, I had a balcony and it was close to almost anything I wanted to do. "The Hotel Borg is a grand hotel, though medium in size it has a large personality. A historic property, the Borg has hosted many characters and events. Centrally located, essy access to restaurants and shopping. Downtown is very walkable, and if needed the front desk will call you a taxi. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The spa is a nice getaway. The staff are professional and friendly. Looking forward to my next adventure at the HB."

"Check-in was a bit confuse due to the address of the property, Cleaniess: The 2 bathroom sinks in both bathroon has a funky smell. Other than that the bathrooms are cleaned. The wood floor is dirty and a bit old that need to be updated. Host: Very nice, very responsive and accommodation for us to check in a bit early on arrive date and check out a bit late on depart date. Location: very convinience close to shopping groceries, restaurant and bus stop."

"We loved our stay here. We had a junior suite which offered plenty of room, the kitchenette was very well stocked and the room itself was clean and comfortable. We ordered the breakfast several days and it was delicious! So much food we ended up using some for lunch and dinner another day! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect! Close to a couple of bus stops and all the shops and restaurants you could want. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!"

"Just had a 3-night stay at ION City. Staffs were all friendly and amazing. Location is in the core downtown tourism area of reykjavic so that could be pro or cons depending on what you like. It's a little bit loud outside especially if the room is towards the street, but window is reasonably sound-proof. One issue was that when I first arrived there were a few blood drops in the bath towels, but after I raised that issue the room service was all good for the rest of the stay. Overall 4/5. "

"The hotel had the most wonderful location. It was just off the main downtown road and everywhere one wanted to be. It was very clean, staff was very helpful and professional. The restaurant on site was wonderful! The only drawback was there wasn’t any air conditioning in the rooms. The two days we visited we actually could have used it, very warm."
