"It was in the heart of Reykjavík. Easy parking in P3 zone just few blocks away, 5 minutes walking. Walking distance from everything you need to see in Reykjavík. Rooms was very spacious and clean. Full kitchen with tools to cook. Located right next to famous Iceland street food with unlimited soup in bread option."

"Located very close to city center, nice interior design. Our room was a two-room suite, however there were no doors between the rooms, so noise from one room was clearly heard in the other room. Also no AC, and the suite was all glass windows, it overheated badly"

"The room was lovely and we had a view from our window directly onto a ship that was being refurbished - it was so unique! We were very grateful there was free parking and the location was great: close to amenities and the promenade. The breakfast was a buffet with a lot of options. Really grateful for the vouchers we received each night we requested to not have our room cleaned -used towards breakfast one day -since food is so expensive in Iceland. I would say the only thing I didn’t like was...

"Bathrooms need to be updated. Flimsy shower curtains and sinks that don’t drain well is not a good look. More is expected from a 4 star hotel"

"Great hotel! Location is fantastic and desk staff incredibly helpful and friendly. The attached bagel place and cafe (Kock) are also quite good. When we return, we’ll stay here again for sure."

"The property was exactly as advertised and our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The location was great with it being easy to walk to any of the big tourists spots and there was parking. We reached out to the owners several times and they were amazing! The only item of not is the property is on a Main Street in a city across from a bus stop so there is some road noise but that is to be expected."

"Good value, clean warm room in the heart of Reykjavík. Check in was painless and we managed to get an early check in. It is not fancy but it does meet your needs. The big positive for this property is location, very near all the main areas for restaurants and bars but tucked out the way to be quiet. I would come back here if we come to Reykjavík again. "

"Spilt our stay between here and another “five star” hotel. Thought this hotel was just as nice and half the cost! The room was very nice, comfortable and a great location! Felt it was a little on the small size but not an issue. Everything was very clean and like most everyone in Iceland, super friendly staff! Would definitely recommend and would stay again! "Loved the location, the building was very clean inside and out. Lacking basic room amenities. No TV, radio, or anything anywhere in the building. Power outlets in weird locations. Wasn’t pleased that we couldn’t even enter the building until check in time, that definitely needs to be looked at for future customers with luggage. "

"Location very convenient to old harbor end of Reykjavik, and within walking distance of other big sights. Nice neighborhood for walking around in. Hotel staff very friendly. Convenient restaurant and bar on premises. Room very compact with somewhat inconvenient spaces to put luggage etc. Nice shower with very nice high end Icelandic herb shampoo, conditioner and soap. A real treat."
