"The property is in a very good location with lots of different amenities nearby. It’s walking distance from the harbour. The kitchen is well equipped. Room is spacious and comfortable with dark blinds for the summer days. Only thing I’d change is to add a washer dryer and provide more affordable parking for guests."

We reached out to the owners several times and they were amazing! The only item of not is the property is on a Main Street in a city across from a bus stop so there is some road noise but that is to be expected."

"I had a lovely stay at Hotel Reykjavík Saga. The location is unbeatable, and the staff were friendly, professional, and efficient throughout my stay. They were also very accommodating with several room changes I requested for different reasons, which I greatly appreciated. My main disappointment was the breakfast offering. Breakfast is brought in the fridge daily and at 8am we get the fresh bread bake from Sanholt! Excellent serbice from the reception.On our first day our power went out when we plugged in our power cord and the reception staff came to the apartment to get it fixed. (If the room is already made up, this could have been waived). We passed on that and they were happy to look after our bags while we explored the harbour area. "Loved the location, the building was very clean inside and out. Lacking basic room amenities. No TV, radio, or anything anywhere in the building. Power outlets in weird locations. Wasn’t pleased that we couldn’t even enter the building until check in time, that definitely needs to be looked at for future customers with luggage. "

"Good value, clean warm room in the heart of Reykjavík. Check in was painless and we managed to get an early check in. It is not fancy but it does meet your needs. The big positive for this property is location, very near all the main areas for restaurants and bars but tucked out the way to be quiet. I would come back here if we come to Reykjavík again. "
