"If I could give more stars I would! This is a total experience. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. They are so happy to share their piece of paradise with others. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. Birders, this is located in the bog with great birds waiting right outside your door! Walk down to the bridge and watch herons and beavers near the Whiteface River."

"The Quiet Cottage, also known as Stolhammer Hus, is the perfect base to explore the Mesabi Bike Trail and the Range. The house is very clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. Great screened in porch, as well as a deck that has you sitting in the woods. The host is great, very accessible and helpful with local recommendations. I would highly recommend the Quiet Cottage in the Woods!"

"Words can’t describe how wonderful our stay was at the Lake House. On a scale of one to 10 this stay ranks in at 10. Roxie’s place is amazing, simply amazing. Roxie made us feel like we were at home when we arrived and received the keys. Roxie continually took care of us by answering questions that we had about the property and things we could do. "The property was very quiet and peaceful. The cabin included everything needed for a short ‘off the grid’ weekend with our children, but still close enough to entertainment opportunities to take day trips. "

"My wife and I stayed with our son over the Easter weekend. The cabin is clean, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is everything you need to cook all 3 meals a day there if you wanted. The lake is only about 50 feet from the door. Sadly, it was still early in the season so it was too chilly for us to play in the lake, but I bet it's really nice in the summer. "
