"Remember going to camp as a kid? This location is exactly that- right by the lake, with a place to have a fire and relax. We were only able to stay 1 night but for big groups who are cool with a camp-like stay, it’s a great deal. FYI depending on your carrier the cellphone reception is minimal, which personally I think makes it even more like a no-cellphone camp atmosphere that I appreciate, but our teens of course struggled with that! Sweet back deck with a swing we enjoyed. "

"I was highly impressed by the cleanliness and accommodations here. I loved how the hostess decorated and felt inspired to bring some of the ideas home! From the fireplace in the bedroom to the soaking bath tub I felt pampered. Renee even left a surprise birthday gift for my boyfriend. "We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed at Serendipity, a unique area in the back of the camp so we had a lot of privacy. I was skeptical of the "tabins" because not the best pictures online but was pleasantly content when we got here. They were spacious enough to accommodate and the beds were fine. It's not the cleanest, but as long as you bring a sheet and/or sleeping bag to place on top of the mattress it was quite comfortable. "Great property! We were in the area for a weekend wedding so didn’t get to enjoy the home as much as we wanted - so we’re planning a trip back for Friendsgiving! Great amenities and gathering spaces. Got owner suggestion for restaurant and that was also great. Highly recommend!"

"We had such a great time at this cabin! The cabin was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and left instructions that made it easy to use amenities and check out without issues. We were able to use ride share to get back and forth from downtown state college. The property and location were beautiful and peaceful. Definitely will stay again!"

"This property was the perfect distance from PSU as we were there to move our daughter in for her sophomore year. We don’t like staying right in State College and this was the perfect distance to avoid the hustle and bustle of college move in. The owners were very helpful with dining options and things to do in the area. We will definitely stay here again. I even discovered a Hobby Lobby just a quick 10min drive away! 😊"

"Beautiful view—probably my favorite feature. Stars were so bright at night. House is set up to make a large group comfortable - big sectional in the living room and two dining tables. Teens enjoyed the foosball table and we all loved the fire pit. Management extremely responsive. It’s about 3 miles on a gravel road up to the house, with the side that leads down to the Giant supermarket a bit rough in spots. We have a very low power car and it was totally fine, but maybe something to be aware of...
