"When we arrived we were put in a room that smelled very musty, had stained carpet and the bathroom mirror was damaged with black streaks. We called the front desk immediately and they said for an upgrade of $40 we can move you. We were paying $500 already. Once we moved the room was clean and comfortable. I was looking for luxury and this was not it. It was a comfortable stay but not what I was thinking. "

"I really enjoyed staying at this resort. It was peaceful and spacious. I stayed in a villa. I really liked how large the rooms were and the patio area was nice. I brought my dog so the patio was nice to take my dog outside. The rooms were very clean. Even with being pet friendly the rooms did not have any pet oder. The resort is older but is well maintained. "Sonesta Suites Scottsdale Gainey Ranch is a beautiful, clean, and well-kept property. Overall, we had a very nice stay. The only thing to note is that we visited during spring break, so the hotel was quite busy with many kids around. If you’re looking for a quieter, more relaxing stay, this may not be the best choice during that time of year. Other than that, it’s a lovely hotel."

"This hotel is in a great location, between the ease of making the reservation, gentle and professional staff. We needed rooms quickly to get to a function in Scottsdale. The hotel staff made this quick and painless. We were able to relax at the pool. And get a great dinner recommendation from hotel staff. If you’re looking for great staff. Reasonably priced, great atmosphere lodging. This is the hotel for you. Sincerely enjoyed."
