"The house was great although we ended up as a much smaller group than anticipated. We intially planned the trip as a halfway point between the Stonycreek festival in Johnstown and the Lower Yough at the Ohiopyle State Park. Most of our club (ADK Whitewater Paddlers) group decided not to make the trip after the heavy rains of last week raised the difficulty level of the local rivers. The few of us that stayed found the house to be clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and to have a homey feel. "

"Great house and great location if the backside of the mountain is open. House has everything you need to entertain all ages. Only complaint is hot water. When you have that many people, doing dishes, laundry, and trying to shower after a day of skiing some were left with cold water. Besides that great house. "

"We had a lovely family getaway at Hidden Valley Resort, and I can’t recommend this place enough. "My daughter is a student athlete at Seton Hill U and we stayed here for a few days while she recovered from ACL surgery. This home was very accommodating for our needs. All one level living with 2 full baths. Place was new and clean. Owner was responsive when needed and so nice, providing extra ice in the freezer for my daughter’s recovery. One thing to consider is that there are just the basics in the kitchen so if you plan on cooking alot during your stay, you should know that in advance....
