"While the cottage has character and the kitchen and bath were well equipped, it was the hosts who made the experience! It is also worth noting that the cottage is off the beaten path in a quiet neighborhood and situated on a beautiful piece of coastal property overlooking Seattle and Mt. Rainier. We have every intention of returning!"

"I have had many pleasant experiences with VRBO but the experience at Whidbey House was just about perfect. The hosts were helpful and responsive, the property is beautiful and we had everything we needed and much more. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use and the water was always hot! As a bonus, we were visited daily by a family of deer. I cannot think of any element that is missing from this lively Whidbey Island vacation spot. "

"Everything was fine. It was quiet and peaceful. They made good use of the space - placing furniture to optimize the view.
I sent a message before check-in- which was never responded to.
It's a partial view of a tidal flat. Calling it an ocean view is a reach. That being said, I enjoyed the somewhat wild landscaping leading down to the view."
