"Not fancy but peaceful and cheap for a night, good location!"

"I'll start with the good. The staff was mostly helpful and pleasant. The A/C worked fine. There was a bus that ran in the evenings to the casino, but only two nights a week. There were some unpleasant things. We are not ones to complain, so we let them go. The wallpaper was peeling off of all of the walls. The ceiling was water stained. "We arrived at the Budget Inn a little before midnight on a Friday night. We only stayed one night on our way to the Westerly beaches. The property and the room were clean and the staff was helpful with providing directions. It’s a secluded location with not much around or much to see, but it is clean and safe. There aren’t many amenities and very little soap, shampoo, etc. We wore shoes in the shower because although the bathroom was clean, it was clearly old and well used."

"I ended up not staying here because when I requested a lower level room, they gave me the key and it was immediately noticed that the room had not been cleaned in a while. The room smelled musty and the bathroom ceiling above the shower was molded. The bed linens were stained, and the 1 set of towels were well worn. There were cobwebs hanging along the edge of the ceiling and even spiders in the webs. There were carpenter ants crawling across the entryway, the microwave door would not close...

"Very clean, well kept property. Convenient parking right outside the door. Good location to explore the area. Felt safe and secure. Air conditioning kept the room very comfortable. For the price, breakfast options would have been a nice addition. Also, a luggage rack in the room."

"The new(er) owner is doing a lot of improvements to the property. The outdoor areas are beautiful with several large firepits and a nice pool. The rooms are small as most motels are but it was clean and the bed was comfortable."

"Property outside was nice, staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms.....Had to change rooms due to the bedding having stains and smelled very musty. The replacement room was better. It's a nice place for the price and a short stay. It's definitely dated, well used, could use some attention on the small things; i.e. bedding, trim paint, clean out the freezer in the fridge, proper shower curtains, and some general deep cleaning in the hidden away areas (corners, behind furniture, etc).
