"Loved everything about my stay here at The River Inn. The Staff were super friendly and very accommodating. The room/suite was very spacious and comfortable feeling like a home. It’s literally 10 minutes from The Wharf which is the waterfront with great restaurants and fun nightlife. Very easy 30min drive to watch The Commanders (NFL). And they have complimentary bikes to ride around historic DC. Couldn’t have asked for a better bang for my buck. "

"My friends and I found this place to be exactly what we needed. It's perfect for a family or friends looking to hang out in D.C. Very clean rooms and knowledgeable employees. This is a hotel we will stay at again. Highly recommend."

"The hotel is old,but they renew it, or tried to do it. The workers were friendly and helpful. Everything you needed, you could ask and they helped you, but you could find towels, soaps, washing soup and .... there..the gym was nice and big.. a lot of places for walking, dining, bicycling and.... also dafe.... people walked around and for us was joyful... coffeeandtea alwayswere ready.... we loved it... but sometimes you could see a bug around.... the doors needed update. "Fabulous views of WA mon. from big picture windows in bedroom and living room! Great natural light - huge windows! Spacious! Felt homey! Fantastic, comfortable bed! Big TV screen in living and bedroom! Full kitchen! Close to great groceries, many restaurants, mall, metro! Very clean. I would recommend that the cleaning company clean the lint from dryer regularly - it was very full which is a fire risk. The checking process needs some fine tuning - they use a service that starts with AI...
