"The house was perfect for a weekend girls trip! We were greeted with wine, snacks and beverages in the fridge upon arrival. Stocked kitchen for cooking meals. Beds were comfortable and quiet neighborhood. In back of the house is a pet friendly walking trail along the water - perfect spot to watch the sunset. Close to outlet mall, casino and restaurants. We drove up to the Tulip festival in Mt. Vernon on our final day. Perfect weekend!!!"

"This house is gorgeous, almost as pretty as the property it sits on. Perfect for a getaway teenager birthday party with lots of space and open concept layout to see all.The hike was a bit harder than expected to river but wow, a lot of work and effort went into that trail. Unfortunately we were maybe a bit early for morel mushrooms :)It is a bit dark in kitchen at night but with all the LED lights and sorting through the many remotes to control them, it definitely is colorful. "It was a little too cold at night to sleep with the windows open to listen to the river as we slept but the rain on the roof made up for that. The only bad nights sleep was when we thought we needed to set our alarm to wake up early. We never set the alarm the rest of our stay. The neighbors to the left put up a no trespassing sign so we couldn’t walk along the river back and that was sad for us. But the home was great. Would definitely rent this home again. "

"We enjoyed out visit a lot. This is our first time back to this area in 37 years. Troy and Shasta have a beautiful suite that I would recommend to anyone. It was the perfect place for our vacation. "

"We rented this house for my daughters wedding at Machias Meadows. My wife and I as well as the bridal party stayed here. There was lots of room for everyone. We did use an air mattress or 2 but nothing was cramped. The first night we lost power for about 5 hours because of a fallen tree and after I sent Joe a message he was able to give us updates on timeframe to get it back on. We also lost air conditioning but I gave Joe a quick call and with in 2 hours it was back on. Overall we had a great...

"The host was friendly and accommodating. Everyone was given a place in the refrigerator and in the kitchen cabinet for their food items. We also had a spot in the bathroom for our toiletries. They had a large play area for our dog. I enjoyed the large vegetable garden. I would stay here again without hesitation."

"It was a good stay. We definitely stay again. It was very comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and had everything that we needed. The vets were comfortable. It was a great value for the location.I think the only issue was the window shading. With it getting light at 4:30 in the morning it was a little bit tough to keep an infant asleep past 5:30 AM and not as private as I had hoped. Hopefully the addition of some blackout curtains or a couple of additional window panels would be the trick."

"Stayed 2 nights. Property was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. Tons of nostalgia in the living room, most comfortable, beautiful chairs ever! I read for hours in there with the stunning lake as a backdrop.Even though this property allows pets you'd never know, not a single animal hair in sight.Hot tub was relaxing and clean. "The property was very clean and very beautiful. The home was very well decorated and had all the amenities we needed plus more! The three bedrooms were big enough for our entire family to have room and the views from the entire house were amazing. This property sits on Lake Martha which was very peaceful and relaxing.
