"Room could do with some minor touch ups as showing signs of wear but generally okay and for what I paid for 10 nights I would consider value for money. Very basic but I knew that when booking and as I was working away I just needed somewhere to sleep and shower and this was perfect for that. "Ardoe House is a beautiful property, very much in keeping with it's history as a baronial mansion. The decor is lavish and made us all feel very posh! The rooms are very well appointed and clean. The bed was the most comfortable bed we had in our two weeks of travel, and the dining options were great. "All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was good and could be altered to suit different tastes. The bus service to get into town is a short walk from the hotel. It is not the best hotel and it is not the worst hotel by a long way but it suited us and we look forward to our next visit."

"Reception welcome was great. Evening meal was absolutely delicious (seared monk fish medallions and garlic butter). Room was clean a organised, hot drink facility, full range of clean needing and towels. Easy check out and free parking. Staff were efficient and welcoming. One smallish moan, the shower temperature was intermittent, cool then hot then cool again continually. Took a bit of adjusting to get an acceptable hot AND cool. Great location for business reasons. I will book again."
