"We had a great stay in this cottage. It was perfect for 2 people. They had supplies you always forget to pack including shampoo/conditioner! The best part was having good coffee from a keurig!! It was hands down much better than a hotel and waking up in the wooded area and seeing deers in the morning was so great! Communication was quick with owners as well! Thank you!! If we are ever in that area again, I would absolutely stay again. 🙂"

"Very clean, nicely appointed, and in a good location for downtown activities. For anyone with mobility issues, know that there is a short downhill walk on pavement to the entrance. Once inside there are more steps down from the kitchen to the living room and one step up into the bedrooms. Not an issue for us but could be for others. Would stay again if in Roanoke."

"For a long weekend trip where we spent most of our time exploring, this was a great home base. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. Heat worked great and the blackout curtains were a big plus (we went the weekend of the time change and this was much appreciated).I hesitate to provide much in the way of negative feedback because it didn't really bother or inconvenience us, but some things were a bit chintzy: the adhesive TP holder and towel hooks failed multiple times, but...

"This place was great for our needs! It had three separate bedrooms with comfortable beds, making it ideal for a group or family. Access was generally easy, though it may be a bit challenging for anyone with mobility issues due to the stairs. The front door was a bit tricky—it required a firm push to open.
