Salty Verandah is situated one street back from the esplanade in the original township of Marion Bay. The long sandy beach of this beautiful little town is just 70 meters away. Walk north ten minutes and you will arrive at the Marion Bay Jetty, the Tavern, Beach Break cafe, General Store and the Boat Ramp. Salty Verandahs kitchen and living area face East providing beautiful natural light to these areas. All rooms are tastefully furnished and styled, the back garden is all lawn with a BBQ area , pergola, and a fish filleting bench. Th rear garage has been converted into a children's/ parent's retreat .The Verandah is an entertainer , a perfect place to relax, entertain with your family and friends or plan your next activities, Marion Bay is the gateway to so much more stunning beaches, spectacular scenery and the iconic Innes National Park, It is very easy to fill your days here at the foot of Yorke Peninsular! There is Great Surf ,Great Fishing , Beautiful walking trails and everything your would expect from this special part of South Australia that fringes the ocean for kilometres. Perfect for our family of 5 and our dog

Perfect sized house. Well equiped with everything we needed. Great location. Fencing was great for our dog. House was tidy, but could use some attention in areas by a cleaner. Overall it was a great place to stay. Would happily stay again in the future.

Great stay!

Great holiday. Loved the accommodation and area. House has all the amenities you could need and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. Highly recommended!

Lovely Week Getaway

I booked a stay at Salty Verandah with my best friend for my birthday. Arrival was super easy and we were met with much cleanliness. The first two days we spent at the Marion bay beach, just one street away as well as beautiful Innes national park, only a short 10min drive. Unfortunately for us the weather then turned south but we stayed happily entertained by the TV unit, DVDs and board games that were supplied to us. At night we enjoyed staying in and cooking in the easily functional kitchen and dinning room.
