"My first vrbo, host was accommodating, had a last minute change and was no problem, very clean, you do have to use the main house for bath facilities but easy acess, 2 minor things, there is only one out let for the refrigerator, microwave and Kuerig had to get down and plug in microwave to use, and small night table on both sides of the bed, other than that great time easy to get to, thanks John"

"Everything from checking in to checking out was great. So many touches of a warm home to make my daughter and I feel like we were wrapped in a warm blanket. So many details from beach towels, to hot chocolate, to a popcorn maker and a book of great things to do in the area. Kitchen and bathroom were super clean with awesome shampoo. The view was top-notch. Location is close to everything but just far enough way to feel like you are in the woods. Covered parking was a plus. Will stay there...

"Went on a mother/daughter getaway for our first time on Orcas Island. The location was great, a little more out in the woods, but only a short distance to the cute town of Eastsound. You can see the water from the porch and there is a waterfall right next to you that you can hear/see. There were people who stayed above us that you could easily hear walking/using the water but not too disruptive. The only item that wasn’t as advertised was we were missing a hair dryer. Otherwise, great low price...

When my parents saw the listing they decided to join me so they got to see their Grandson's campus and meet his friends while staying at a quiet, clean location. LOVED THE FLOWERS and all the plants - just gorgeous. "

"At least in April, Lummi Island is remarkable for its silence. We heard birds, and an aircraft far away, and the occasional crinkly sound of the tires of slow moving “traffic.”One thing important for guests to note: The charming ferry can hold about 16 cars or one semi. Islanders leave in the morning 6-9-ish (I think to go to work, the sad souls) and return 4-6 ish. Those are busy ferry times. If you need to be someplace, get it the ferry line early. "Stayed here for a few days during a stay on Orcas with some old friends from college. We absolutely loved the spot and can’t recommend it highly enough. Remote in the best possible way. Lovely accommodations, great view. We saw a seal and otters right in the backyard! "
