"The property is a vacation in and of itself. It’s situated in the mountains with beautiful views. Spacious interior with lots of bedrooms and very large kitchen and outdoor cooking area. We enjoyed the proximity to the lake and spent a beautiful day on a pontoon boat. The host provides clear instruction on getting to the house and check out was a breeze. We highly recommend this place and made memories we will cherish. "

"This property was exceptional, and the Penrod’s were gracious hosts. If you are looking to get away and enjoy the peaceful tranquility of nature, or if you enjoy fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and everything outdoors, this place is for you! Sharing this experience with my 3 teenage kids, I never heard once that they didn’t have anything to do. They loved it here and the amenities were everything we needed! "

"Our stay was very comfortable and the hosts were great. The Vrbo just was as described and lovely. The instructions for our stay and checkout were very clear. The hosts proactively let us know they had received notice of a WiFi outage and what to expect; the outage was brief and did not cause us interference. We would definitely stay again!"

"First of all it was immaculate. Smelled like fresh cedar. Decor was lovely and enjoyed much time on lower deck. Beds were comfortable! Hot tub was hot and lots of towels provided. Left us fresh flowers and some welcome snacks for our arrival. Overall really nice home with everything you needed to cook great meals. Nice that they provided lots of dish towels and all the soaps/laundry/DW and even foil, plastic baggies and k cups, extra propane. If I could give 4.5 starts I would because the WiFi...

"A welcoming, beautifully decorated cabin to call home for a couple days! Our children adored their stay here, and spent hours in the woods and making smores by the campfire.
