"Fabulous stay, beautiful building, excellent location next to lovely pubs, restaurants and shops. Nice walk along the canal into the centre of Chester. Breakfast was beautiful with lots to choose from and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again."

"Good location a few minutes drive out of city centre. Staff are friendly and attentive. Rooms are a decent size and very clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast in the morning (not included) and reasonably priced for the quality of product used. Would recommend and would stay again if returning to Chester "

"This hotel is close to the train station and to the Chester city center. It's clean.The staff is very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed our stay there. We would stay there again.There are good amenities, good walking areas next to the hotel, and places to exercise."

"This hotel Is excellent. All the staff - reception, restaurant, bar and room servicing are brilliant, friendly and always go that extra mile for you. Breakfast is excellent and the most varied we have encountered. The lunch and evening meal menus are very good too."

"The Boathouse is on the river and next to the Grosvenor Park with is very pretty and a nice area to walk through to get to the city centre. We watched a rowing club practise right from our table at dinner. The wait staff in the dining room were very friendly and accommodating. It was a convenient place to have dinner and the food was good. We didn’t opt for breakfast.
