"We had a great stay. Very clean throughout with comfortable bed and furniture. The kitchen was excellent to cook in, with everything one could need. Host was responsive. The grounds were kept in great condition and we enjoyed the semi-rural location so close to town."

"Monday Cottage at Castlecliff is a charming and delightful holiday cottage. It has a very nostalgic feel, and the furnishings are brilliant to the period. It is close to the main beach which has lovely sunsets. For anyone wanting a true taste of period New Zealand then this is an ideal holiday base and location."

"Wow what an absolute stunning place. We were definitely not expecting this. Out in the country with a view from our upstairs room out over the valley. Private deck area with Kereru in the trees beside us. Frances even left us with feijoas, homemade muesli, yoghurt bread, milk and spreads which was not expected. Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of paradise"
