"The room was large and in a quiet part of the hotel. Staff for booking in and in the bar and breakfast room were helpful and nice. No passing traffic made for a very restful night's sleep. Breakfast was comprehensive with continental or cooked options."

"Lady in reception was lovely and as it was a quiet time of the month she kindly gave me an upgrade. The room was spacious and warm. Nice little bar and a great space for dining and breakfast. I dined in at the hotel and the guiness pie and mash was great, although could've done with a small amount of veg. No problem with parking, lots of space. If staying in the area, I would stay here again."

"We were pleasantly surprised. Very friendly, exceptionally clean room, esp the bed linen. Breakfast was ceral, yogurt, croisants , muffins plus cooked english. The waitress was super friendly with great banter. Being able to park was a plus, great pub opposire, 20 minute walk to the corn exchange. The walk was very enjoyable and we crossed the river to get into the city. My husband lost the front door/ room keycard however the sister hotel The Arundel fixed , even though it was almost midnight ....

"Loved the romantic room as the size was amazing. A quiet location with stunning views and we loved sitting there with a cuppa and relaxing. Easy parking. Bed was comfy. Clean bathroom. We appreciated the friendly reception and close walking distance to the park and ride. This made it an excellent location. "

"The staff were brilliant and made our stay so enjoyable. Food was excellent both for the breakfast and evening meal. Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations. I thoroughly recommend the Crown & Punchbowl when visiting Cambridge, especially as a half hourly bus service into Cambridge stops just across the...

"Clean, comfortable well presented room. No food facilities on site but a microwave, kettle and toaster was provided. All crockery and cutlery was available together with a decently sized kitchen sink. The en-suite was adequate with an electric shower, toilet and sink. We will stay at the Falcons Nest next time we are in the area. "
