Gillandrea is available for overnight or weekly accomodation, set in the beautiful hinterland of Maleny.

The grand house features 6 bedrooms, 3 lounge rooms and 3 bathrooms that will accomodate up to 12 people in style.

Located on Maleny's prestigious Mountain View Rd its proximity to wedding venues, King Ludwig German Restaurant and the main street makes it a great place for a romantic weekend or family retreat.

Enjoy all the Maleny-Blackall Range has to offer.

1 hour from Brisbane, 30 minutes to the beaches of the Sunshine Coast and only minutes from the main street and its cafes, Tiffany's and Maleny Manor wedding venues

Spend the warm sunny days enjoying the local walks through Mary Cairncross Park, climbing the Glasshouse Mountains, a day at the beach or simply a game of cricket in the front yard. And then settle in for a night in front of the fire.

Enjoy the views and rolling hills 1200 feet above sea level.

If you wish to have a late check out an extra $25/hr (maximum 2 hours) will be charged. If you require a later check out than 12pm an extra days booking will be required.

This was the perfect setting for our writers retreat. Though the weather was cold, rainy, and misty it added to the ambience. Nothing better than writing stories in front of a cozy fire in a beautiful house that met our every need. Thank you so much. We’ll be back.

The house was quite spacious and good for accomodating large group of family/friends (we were 9 adult and 2 kids). Everyone had nice time. Few pointers which could improve our stay:1. The house was dusty. It triggered my dust alergy related issues.2. Over all cleaniness could get some more attention. Cob webs and other accumulated dust.3. Cockroach and other bugs coyld be controlled thrpugh pest treatment. 4. Kitchen exhaust was not working. 5. The bbq grill was.not in usable condition (rusty and dusty).However, it was a nice house and we had nice time.

All my friends were amazed with this home. We had a vintage dinner party and the home matches the theme perfectly. Without hesitation, my friends took themselves on a tour of the home because they just couldn’t help themselves. It’s stunning inside and out. All communication and instructions were extremely clear and easy to locate.

Just perfect for our family! We arrived to have a good time in a big house but found a beautiful home and had a great time. There was plenty of everything to meet our needs in all the different areas from kitchen to laundry and in between! We loved the layout of the house, (& the chalkboard walls in bedrooms are very interesting). The views match the house…both are worth looking at! The fire place heated up the house very well. We had a couple of men that did a great job of keeping it stoked. The location was excellent for visiting the local attractions. A couple of our fellows enjoyed the local golf course despite the holiness! Thank you so much for opening yr home up for rental. We really appreciated it!

The house was the perfect size for our large family gathering to celebrate my milestone birthday. Plenty of bedrooms and living areas for people to spread out. Close to local attractions. Considering going back next year for my Dad's 90th

Arrived at the house late so was a bit dark entry is through the back door my 1 year old granddaughter walked up the stairs with me and as she was walking I noticed the Balaustrade is missing and has a drop of approx 6 ft to concrete below, not safe. It was very very cold and there is no heating in the entire house except a combustion heater downstairs which didn’t work so we had to run it with the door open which smoked badly. I texted the owner didn’t hear anything back Till next day. We went out in the morning after an extremely difficult night with 3 very cold children. When we got back there was 6 blower heaters left inside which we appreciated but wasn’t happy someone came in with out letting us know. However when plugged in the heaters kept tripping the electrics we could only plug 3 in at a time so we opted to keep the children warm, even these tripped overnight and I was continually going out during the night to reset the breaker. The house was also dirty and could do with a very very deep clean. Cobwebs in the wardrobes and something disgusting in one of the wardrobes, oven etc very dirty. The writing all over the chalk board walls is a bit weird. For a house which I assume due to the materials used aluminium windows hollow doors low ceilings Gyprock walls this house was built in the 1990’s it is a very pretty house it’s a pity it is being let down by the things listed above Recommend a new cleaner a split system aircon and repair the Balaustrade

The property is very nice and big, it is great for a big extended family stay. the hot water system is an issue, we had hot water for about 3 showers, and the remaining showers we had to have cold ones which isn't nice in winter time, it is pretty hard with small kids also. The fireplace is very nice and big. The house definitely needs a proper clean. The bbq wasnt clean. When we arrived and the oven looks like it hasn't been wiped down for a long time. The listing needs to be updated to reflect that two of the bedrooms are separated by a curtain and each bedroom have internal doors to each other. Overall it was a nice house, just needs a bit of attention. The hot water was definitely the deal breaker with the house, if that is fixed so that a backup system is installed/on, then we would come back. But wouldn't come back again if still no hot water.

The property is a great size for family gatherings with lots of spaces for individuals to break away if they need to. We struggled with hot water, the house has a solar hot water system that couldn't keep up after one day of bad weather. And because the weather was cool already outside, a cold shower was not great.

Beautiful location & potentially great property let down by a huge number of issues most of which could be rectified with better maintenance-& others that one should really know about before booking this property, just some are-oven not working which was a known issue that we weren’t told in advance about!, solar hot water only, so no hot water until mid morning even on a sunny day, only one filthy, tiny frypan for 10 people, barbecue was disgusting & nearly unusable, only heating (8 degrees overnight) combustion fire that the fan was broken so very cold at night, listed for up to 12 people but 2 of the bedrooms had an open aperture between them so no privacy for those people, whole house needed deep clean-dirty, dusty, mouldy & cobwebs abounded, door locks broken to name just some of the issues. We feel very sad for the owner who lives in America & is not being treated well by Aussie tradies who should be helping her maintain this property in a much better light! Unfortunately we could not recommend a stay here despite its potential & fantastic location! PS-the owner did offer a refund of a small amount of compensation but not enough to make us feel good about our stay & as yet have not received same!

A beautiful home with lovely big spaces. Needs a proper deep clean. The beauty of the home is let down by the awful graffitied chalk board walls in two of the rooms. Two of the rooms are also adjoining which impacted how we were planning to use the rooms due to lack of privacy. We were very inconvenienced by an oven with no heat and a moldy bbq which made preparing the meals we had planned, near impossible. With some attention this stay could be 5 stars.
