"The staff was very kind, the location amazing! The king room was huge and updated with separate vanity area that includes mini fridge, coffee maker, and clothes rod. Super clean with really comfy bed, linens and pillows. We did not use pool area that looked lovely with a fire pit at night. "

Some minor comments only — parking is a bit expensive, blackout shades/blinds would be helpful, also no early morning music, please(!). But will definitely come back again – thank you!"

The view of the ocean from inside the room makes you feel like you are on a cruise. Great access to the beach. Bachir welcomed us when we arrived and gave us the ideal room. "No ocean view. No housekeeping. We were given trash bags to put our trash outside. We were told to put dirty towels outside room. Hole in bathroom covered with plastic and duct tape. Broken toilet seat which pinched upon using. We had to go to office for towels, cups, Keurig coffee cups. Our room was next to a demolition site with dirt and tractors visible on leaving room. It was my birthday vacation and very disappointing. I am filing a claim for reimbursement, I have all documenting photos. "

"I guess I have been going to hotels that are not "vintage" properties. Cute little motel that is close to the ocean and on the main "drag" of Laguna Beach. Very quiet and free coffee, tea and chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. If you are traveling to Laguna on a budget, this is an option. Ocean view only because the house behind the hotel had been torn down and was under construction. Comfortable bed, and free (I think) parking in front. Desk person is a bit lackluster and could use some...

"For the price point, we expected more, honestly. The kitchen wasn't fully supplied (no coffee filters, nothing to put leftover food in, no tongs for the BBQ, etc), the area rug is old and dingy, the bathroom tray is rusted, worst of all..... You can't even sit out on the deck because the table and chairs are so badly rusted and corroded!!! Not worth the price, sorry. "

"Don’t get me wrong room was clean more of a older hotel for sure the line was long for check in only 2 people working parking is horrible so I recommend valet for 45$ a night and they also don’t have a elevator so expect a 1hr of waiting for your luggage if you have a lot. As we struggled to find our room the key didn’t work so I had to go back and wait in line to get new keys?! Definitely won’t be staying here again. "
