Offered us a welcome drink which was lovely and we could use our rooms to drop our items as they had already been cleaned which was very helpful as we were in the area for a wedding. The amenities and room were great and bed was very comfortable. We were told that there would be live music until 11.30 and drinks available downstairs in the bar until 1pm but weren’t made aware of the loud music that would be playing which did continue until 1:30pm - we were...

"A bit surreal, the place was devoid of staff, night or day! The room was clean but tiny and very sparse of comfort, which is OK for one night but does not match the price. Also the name Airport Lodge is deceptive, it is 10' ride by taxi and that was 16 pounds. The following day i tried the local bus but it came 45´ late. At least, it was only 2 pounds. "

"The hotel was having a renovation but the staff couldn't do enough for us. Very friendly and helpful. Had to stay 1 extra night but that wasn't a bother at all. Very large ground floor Room with garden view, but looking like building site outside cos of reno.3 single beds, could do with a king-size bed and a small table n chairs. Massive portions of food, evening time,but abit lukewarm. Didn't try brekkie. Would go again. "

"I stayed here one night before an early flight from stanstead. The hotel is conveniently located about 5 min drive to the airport. The chap at front desk was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were both clean as was the shower. The room had tea making facilities and a hair dryer. The bed was not so good very bumpy, you could feel the springs, and parking is not free as stated I was charged £6. 50. Overall ok for a one night stay. "
