This renovated 6 bedroom, 5 full bath home is in the city's best location. Walk to great restaurants, cafes, shops, parks, Cave Hill and many other attractions.

Over 4300 square feet of space on three floors. The first floor has a large, gracious entry room, living room, dining room, just remodeled kitchen and just remodeled bathroom. On the second floor are 4 bedrooms (3 king, 1 queen) and two full baths. On the third floor is a large king suite that also has 2 twin beds and full bath.

The walk out basement has a queen bedroom, a full bath and a large gaming room with a professional quality poker table for 10. Casino quality clay chips, cards and buttons provided as well. The poker table has a custom fitted topper that covers the felt so that the table can also be used for family activities like board games or puzzle assembly.
Also in the walk out basement is a fully equipped laundry room. All bedrooms have a 50" Smart TV, top quality bedding and lovely décor. The living room and family rooms each have larger flat screens. Dining room seats 8 with additional dining area available on the patio. Wifi thoughout. Great back patio area with large gas grill, outdoor sofa and chairs and a table and chairs. There is also a rustic style fire pit.

Other Important Information:
1- If your group grows, we have several other properties within a block of this one (VRBO 4929334 and 4929386 is less than 100 yards away).

2- Although this home is just a short walk to many exciting party spots, it is located on a residential street.

3- Just as at a hotel, Photo ID matching the booking name are required at check in.

5. This home has exterior Ring door bell cameras by the front and back doors.

6. For accurate pricing of your stay, please enter correct dates and guest count. If you are bringing a pet, please check the box "traveling with pets" in the pull down box below guest count. This will ensure the pet fee for 1 pet is included with your booking. Additional pets, not to exceed 3 pets total, must be added manually after booking.

Cancellation Policies:
1. Refund is not available due to high volume.
2. If travel to our area is restricted by governmental order, we will issue a 100% credit good for future travel at any of our homes within 18 months of original booking.

FAQs:
1. As of January 1, 2023 VRBO now collects all local and state sales and transient taxes. If you booked prior to January 1, 2023 the Louisville Metro Transient tax will be billed and collected separately.
2. Why can't we have more than 16 guests total in the home for just a few hours?
The Louisville STR ordinance caps the total legal occupancy of short term rentals based on the total number of bedrooms. Violation can result in the removal of our STR license.
3. Although we welcome families and groups of all kinds, we do have a few rules for bachelor/ette groups: No glitter or confetti is permitted at the home. If found in the home, your group will be charged an excess cleaning fee for clean-up. Do not tape, tack or nail ANYTHING to our walls. Groups are expected to leave the home is reasonably tidy condition-- all trash must be bagged, we should not find spilled food or beverages on carpets, floors or furniture and no damage should be done. Any clean up of bodily fluids of any kind, anywhere in the home will result in an excess cleaning charge.

Our Check In Process:

We offer self-check in or in-person check in at our home!

For self-check in, after you let yourself into the home with your unique digital code. Please note we require photo ID matching the booking name. If you are unable or unwilling to send us a digital image of the required photo ID, you cannot self check in and must instead choose in person check in.

For in person check in, a mutually agreeable time between 3pm and 9pm must be chosen. We will meet you at the home to obtain a copy of your photo ID.

No check in is permitted without photo ID matching the booking name. If another member of your group will be arriving before the named guest, please call or email for assistance in setting up check in.

We had a wonderful stay with 5 couples. Rooms were spacious and beautiful. Great location to walk to dinners, etc. Our “issues “ were that the bedroom and bathroom locations were not as expected. There is no main floor bedroom, but a full bath with shower on the main floor. That was unclear or misleading in the description. Our 80 couple had a very difficult time with no grab bars in tub or hand rails on part of the steps. The other 4 couples would definitely return some day!

Amazing house in the Highlands neighborhood with so much to do in walking distance. The house is beautiful and historic but modernized to meet all our needs. The backyard patio is a great set up and the alley parking was big enough for two trucks. The house set up gave us the opportunity to all be together but then have our own spaces. It was perfect!

This property was in a lovely neighborhood. Easy to walk to get coffee, dinner, etc. One night "the kids" even walked ove to a karaoke bar. Easy check in and check out. The beds were all very comfortable, plenty of glasses, cups, dishes. Coffee supplies and other necessities were there. A/C worked great...absolutely no complaints!

Bourbon Trail Experience and Stay

Great location and wonderful house. Plenty of room for several couples to stay and be able to enjoy Louisville and the bourbon Trail experiences purely highly recommend this house. The outdoor area was perfect for having cocktails and hanging out after a long day.

Louisville Bourbon Trip

Came down with my family and four other couples to do a bourbon trail trip for my fiancé’s 40th birthday. House was big and beautiful! Walking distance to plenty of nightlife. Wonderfully furnished and comfortable beds. Plenty of bathrooms for a packed house. Was perfect for this trip. Had great communication with the owners and our stay couldn’t have gone any better. Would highly recommend this rental and would definitely book again.

Conference Stay

We brought a group of young adults to attend a conference at the convention center downtown. The location of this home was great for a quick and simple drive to the conference and several great food and coffee options within walking distance from the house. The house is clean and comfortable and has lots of space to hangout together or get some quiet time on your own.

Perfect for our large group

We had a group of 11 and the property was perfect for our large group. It was nice to have a hair dryer in each bathroom, snack to hold us over until we could get to grocery and fresh ground coffee. Just a few steps away from multiple restaurants and bars. We spent a lot of time in the outdoor space as it was plenty of room to accommodate our group and the weather was perfect for the patio. I would highly recommend the property to anyone visiting the city.

Historic Home in Louisville

The pros - the home is older with much charm, very clean, and the property manager was very responsive. We made the reservation for 4 couples and 1 couple had to cancel at the last minute - which worked out great because of the bedroom/bathroom settings. The cons - although some of the website pictures accurately portrayed the property in general, the backyard was not private and the furniture was not clean, or even wiped down before our stay. Also, the parking in the back of the house is primarily for compact vehicles and very conjested with neighbors' trash cans and vehicles.

Perfect Home Base

Five couples - the guys wanted bourbon, the girls wanted to add Louisville. This house served both needs! We all had our own room and almost our own bathroom, but the separation of toilets and showers made it all good. We could walk to restaurants, within an hour of all of our distilleries and 15 minutes from Churchill Downs and downtown. Firepit space is amazing and great neighborhood for walks! We even checked out Cave Hill Cemetery. Host communication was immediate and NO CLEAN UP! WOW!!! We highly recommend!
