We were to Bourbon & Beyond at the Kentucky Fairgrounds. It was a very short and convenient Uber trip. The layout of the house was a little odd and very cramped. The neighbor was also a little unsettling. All-in-all, we were only in the house to sleep so it served its purpose. Also, the toilet was acting up and not flushing but it was fixable.

We stayed at this property and the location was great but the cleanliness of the house was disgusting. Multiple rat traps around the house, accidentally kicked a big rat trap in the kitchen. The baseboards were layers with dust and hair. The kitchen was very dirty, I pulled out a pan to make dinner and it was sticky with caked out food, most of the silverware was the same, the dish rack was covered in dust and whatever else, and the cutting board looked like it was cleaned, never properly cleaned. I had to wash nothing very well before using it. The beds were beyond noisy, only thing in the house that was clean were the sheets (thank god), but the bunk bed you breathe and it’s so loud. We never sat on the couch because it looked like a couch you’d find in the basement of a disgusting rest house. It was covered in stains, trash was found under the couch, including a nicotine patches container. The recliner was the same, as well as the kitchen chairs covered in gross strains. We could not stay anywhere else as there was a national convention and all hotels were either booked or super expensive. Do not recommend. I wish I could upload videos and pictures of this house.

I enjoyed my stay, the place was clean and had the basics. The only issue was that the bed was very noisy. Both the queen and twins were extremely noisy whenever someone laid down.

**BED BUGS**

Stay and location is as described. Unfortunately the room with the bunk beds was infested with fleas/bed bugs!!! The two people who stay in the bunk beds were eaten alive with bugs. All over their face and back! Main bed was fine. You get what you pay for. For the price other than the bugs it was what it was.

Such a cute little like bungalow. It was settled in the older part of Louisville. The location was perfect for us getting back-and-forth to the expo Center. It was also convenient location for making it to Churchill Downs. Everything we needed was there. It made for a great weekend without worry of where we are staying. It did have on street parking. The only things I would say needed would be coffee mugs. lol Pens we could write in the welcome 📖 I felt bad because none of us had a pin on us and so we couldn’t record our stay and our adventures. The only thing I can think of that was a negative would be the beds are very squeaky. You always knew when someone was rolling over in the other room. lol But overall, I would recommend this little place to anyone. And I would like to stay here again on my next visit next summer to Louisville.

Overall, this property was close to what I expected based on the price; however, the doorknob broke off to the bathroom on our second night of the stay and my roommate was stuck in the bathroom for a few minutes until I was able to get the door open. Location was fairly convenient, but it was not located in the safest area, and the beds were both pretty creaky from the metal frames. However, if you’re looking for an inexpensive place to stay with two people for a short period, it is a good deal.

Close to everything

We were scheduled for a Basketball tournament I had booked way in advance because of issues if we wait we may not be able to find a place. This was a GREAT PLACE & LOCATION! We were close to everything we wanted to do/ go experience. We had enough room for everyone! Owner was responsive to any of our questions. We will DEFINITELY be coming back specially when visiting friends & family out here♥️

Very nice, as described

We were in Kentucky for an event at the Expo Center. We are very happy with our stay. The house was clean and well maintained. All furnishings appeared new, as did flooring and paint. A few weeks before our stay, I found out we did not need to stay as long as anticipated. I contacted the property owner and was immediately refunded for the extra 3 days I did not need. Check in was smooth and easy. I have NO complaints. Thank you! We hope to be back again next year!
