The location was better than we anticipated and having our car secured on site made a huge difference in worrying about finding parking."

"This place is so charming. Feels like you are in old New Orleans. So much better than staying in chain hotels that all look the same. We loved our balcony, the atrium, the bar and restaurant, and the coffee and ice cream shop. The bar can get pretty fun, by the way. Staying at the St. Marie gives you the French Quarter experience. "The room was not cleaned well prior to our arrival as we found trash from the previous guest under the sink and makeup handprints on the bathroom door. When our room was cleaned, they didn’t replenish hand soap or with enough towels for two people needing to shower minimally twice daily in New Orleans heat. "The pool is small but a good spot to just hang out and cool off. The hotel is walking distance to all the cool spots like Bourbon, Decatur, Canal. Super close to Cafe du Monde in Jackson Square. Simple fruit, pancakes or waffles, yogurt, cereal and coffee breakfast. Definitely recommend staying here. "

"The room was clean but the beds were not queen size they were maby a full size, Im only 5'10" and my feet were hanging off the end. The staff was rude, and then they charged $50 a night for parking, and the parking was about 2 blocks away in a shady garage. We also booked the hotel because it was pet friendly but then they told us pets are allowed for an additional $125 a night. The property itself was nice old New Orleans style. But We definitely will not be going back"
