"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very peaceful and quiet. Very unique and pleasant surroundings, being right on the creek. We enjoyed hearing the creek at night as we slept, and drinking morning coffee over looking the trout pond. The place is very clean and easy to stay at. The owner is friendly and helpful. Feeding the fish is pretty fun! There are many beautiful places near here to visit and enjoy. We will definitely come back if we are in the area. "

"We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very roomy, beautiful yard, quiet neighborhood! Lots for the kids to do, they loved the air hockey! The host was great, we had a little hiccup the first day, and he handled it immediately, was very nice and easy to get ahold of! I was a little nervous because there was no air conditioning but we opened the windows and it was perfect. We would definitely book here again"

"If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Everything was wonderful. Clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. They even had kayaks on site and sand toys for the kids. The Weber grill was perfect for grilling out every night. The swing set meant the kids were always entertained. The hosts were so responsive from start to finish. Access to Oscoda for groceries was quick and easy. Beach was private, not crowded, clean and overall just lovely every day. Cannot wait to return! "

"It’s a good location to do everything Northern east coast from Mackinac Island to Tawas and points inland. The cabin is spacious enough and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is very small, but you don’t want to spend a lot of time in there anyway. Communication with the host was/is excellent and timely. "Beautiful "cottage" and great location."

"Marina and Sergey’s beach-front cabin is a beauty. The location is serene - far enough away from town for stillness and relaxation, yet close enough to amenities and activities. The cabin is newly built, open and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Owner was very personable and helpful. The cabin is vintage without a lot of modern upgrades, but that is what makes it charming. Kind of like stepping into a 1940's lakeside resort. It had all of the proper necessities, fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen wares, etc. It was clean and comfortable. Cable tv worked fine. They supplied some wood for a campfire which was nice and each cabin has their own firepit. The lake is beautiful and we could launch our kayaks from the edge beyond the seawall,...

"Alpena is a quiet, welcoming town, and this home is in a safe, friendly neighborhood that is great for walking with the dog. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Thomson Park Beach on Lake Huron, which has dog-friendly areas. Starlite Beach is a little farther away and was busier during our visit, but it offers a splash park and public bathrooms.Rockport State Recreation Area is a 20–30 minute drive north and has Devonian-era fossils you can collect, while Negwegon State Park is about 30 minutes south...

"The cabin was great!!! Super clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with all needed utensils. Lovely, considerate extras: ice, bottled water, fresh flowers, and so much more! We spent 2 nights as a couple and 2 more as grandparents of 2 boys (3&10). Such valuable memories and happy experiences. Beach was quiet and clean with anything you could hope for!!! So grateful for Carmen’s generosity. "
