6/10
Pros: the food is incredible, the staff is friendly, and it is close but far enough from Cabo San Lucas. The beachfront is amazing, there is a swimmable and a non-swimmable area, the service on the beach was exquisite and fast. The food is amazing specially the breakfast, it is authentic Mexican food. The peninsula for dinner was our favorite restaurant overlooking the ocean. Also very good high-quality food. The staff is friendly, especially a gentleman named Tony that sits on the second floor for poker night And drinks. The value for the hotel is fantastic.
Cons: it is super noisy, if you’re looking to visit Cabo for relaxation, this is not the hotel you wanna go to. The pools are oversaturated, we found it hard to find a place to sit on a Friday. There are too many people for the availability of the pool.
The rooms are located in the lower level of the building, so the lobby has incredible views, and some of the rooms do not. When we checked in, they try to give us a room with a building, blocking the view, even though we booked ocean view, and we had to go all the way back to the elevator eight floors to get a new room. The checking in is very slow. There’s always a lot of people in the lobby and it is super loud. Our security box in the room was broken so we had to call and get that fixed. We were constantly missing coffee and coffee cups, and the fee to take a taxi from the hotel is triple of what an Uber would charge you. It is ridiculous. They don’t allow guests.
