"It was a pleasure staying at the Blue Spruce Cabin. It was comfortable, spacious, clean and I would recommend everyone to stay here! If I come back to the area then I’d stay here again. "

"Great restaurant just down the road, a 10 minute walk along the river trail. Very quiet, serene, natural, and wildlife. Close to downtown, lake Estes, and Rocky Mountain National Park. Great to sit by the river and read a book while listening to the birds. Wonderful hot tub, deck, and cabin. Just perfect for a romantic getaway. "

"This place was nothing short of incredible. My wife and I enjoyed a week in their cabins for our honeymoon and we would do it a thousand times over. It is a beautiful place with a spacious cabin that has all the amenities you could desire. It’s on a beautiful river with easy access to Estes park and the mountains."

"This stay was unforgettable due to location and frequent animal sightings. The area along river was an attraction in itself. The only negative was no having climate controlled room (AC). It would have been less noticeable if the cabins were designed to let heat out of room with windows properly placed at top to let airflow cool room. All and all we loved the placed and would return again. "

"To start, excellent location, our room was backed up to the river, it was so relaxing to sit out back and listen to the water. There was a towel swan in the bathroom, and fancy linen and paper product origami in the bathroom. The bed was sooooo comfortable and the sheets were high end hotel quality, along with plenty of fluffy pillows. There soap dispensers in the shower and by the sink along with hotel guest products, they even had a specific makeup washcloth. This is an older lodge that has...

"It's a great experience. Staff is very courteous and friendly. House keeping staff did great job in keeping the room clean. We would come back to stay here in future when we visit Rockys again."

"This quaint sweet place was soooo clean and the staff were so very kind and helpful! It is away from the crazy downtown area, but super fast access to all RMNP entrances! We would stay again in a heartbeat!"

"THE BEST view of Longs Peak, and Twin Sisters right on the other side. Historical lodge with trails all around it- there was even a humble breakfast in the lobby. Peaceful and so close to estes park. Recommend."

"Peaceful, was all I was looking for on our 44th Anniversary. Love staying by a creek or river. Grew up in RMNP during the summers thru the 60's. Kitchen could use updated cooking pots, pans etc."

"We booked this last minute so our options were limited but this was a great find. The location is very close to the main strip, maybe not quite walkable with younger kids but only a few minute drive. The room is nothing fancy but clean and the beds were super comfy. The playground, pools and hot tub were great for the kids. I can definitely recommend this place, we’d stay there again. "
