We were so disappointed with our stay, specifically with the staff. We checked into the Presidential Suite. The check-in process was smooth but we did not receive any of the amenities that were included in the rate. When later asked if we were satisfied with the amenities package in our room, we were shocked as there was nothing in the room, not even enough towels. The desk manager explained that with the suite we should have received a basket, as well as vouchers for dinner and drinks. We received none of the above (except later two vouchers for drinks). The manager apologized and said that we would receive all of the amenities before we checked out the next morning. We never received anything. I did mention this again to another front desk manager who made the same promise, only to receive nothing. There also was never any mention of or attempt to rectify that we never received dinner vouchers (since the hotel no longer has a restaurant). We paid for the Presidential Suite, but never received all that we paid for. Only platitudes and empty promises of addressing the shortcomings. Nothing was ever done. In addition, we had trouble reaching the front desk by phone. I called seven times without any answer, my wife over ten times. I also asked for towels. Two bathrobes were delivered instead. Bedding for the sofa bed came, no pillows. Our breakfast room service was late and the order incorrect. Overall: very poor service, bait and switch room amenities. Bad.
